It has really affected the players in the old 1-10 range who now no longer have that difficulty.
I don’t mind the change but I equally understand that people dislike the Hc > M0 > M+ route now. Under the old system we had to push up more levels but it did chunk up pretty fast.
You can see in the participation numbers all the people that no longer do M+ as a result.
DF S4 was rough at the start but got better quite quickly.
Now it’s just a massive lottery. And then they troll us with the death penalty affix. It’s like they want keys to be disbanded. Maybe they want more people raiding again. From what i hear, normal and LFG is easier.
It won’t because I need to grid several times more keys and content to get geared like that, I was in previous seasons. Much fewer people will be geared, and they won’t be into carrying random PuG people.
this absolutely. Can´t state this too often, i want to be able to carry my friends through the content if i´m doing well, not hanging on for dear live while leaving everyone behind.
It´s fine if you can´t carry everyone through a 12+ key, but even a 10 you could bring a lot of players that learned to survive and do some dmg and you have been fine previous saisons.
Now they donßt only disrespect our time, they also ask us to leave our friends behind. I´ve never felt worse about this game.
which is waht i understand the least, start of the expansion they have the most returnign/new players and the most attention and they just insist on everyone having a really bad time for no f++++ reason.
I dont think you understand if you only play with friends or guild. It is completetly different and overall season 1 tww is so much worse than DF because it is way too difficult like you cant play this game! You get it?
Yes it was, but upgrade system was different, you could upgrade every m+ item up to 6 ilvl below the max once you had the rating. Gear progression was better at least. Also +20 didn’t have both fort and tyr and they were not bricked after 1 single wipe.
M+ participation in S4 DF did not fall as fast as in other seasons, and the gearing was the easiest in that season (not sure if I am correct in numbers though)
I mean there is one easy fix: They just need to change the mob casting behaviour to where they don’t immediately recast after a kick. Other than that, there is not much that is gonna kill players. If they make it punishing with -75 seconds per wipe, it’d be fine, if there weren’t so many unavoidable oneshots in the game due to how mob casting behaviour is.
Maybe DPS players don’t really see, why this is so much of a problem, because they don’t pay as much attention to what is doing damage to them as tanks. I guess good healers, who don’t only stare at healthbars, probably also realise this I assume.
The solution is pretty simple, remove the 15sec death affix, or if people really want it to stay, move it to +10 and move the fort + tyr affix to +12, remove the affix that gives stuff at +12
I’m getting tired of keys going perfectly until one person makes one mistake that causes a wipe, and then the entire key being burned. (This happened to me today in a siege +9)
But the game is still gonna have unavoidable oneshots. Do you think it’s more fun, if the game is bad, but you get shiny rewards way easier, or if the game is good, but you can lose, if it’s your fault.
I don’t think just removing death affix is gonna make M+ more fun tbh.
