Ive gone from 3k mmr to 2.2k in rougly 10 games because of absolutely awful teams and now i gain 0 rating from wins and lose 22 for every loss… i guess this is just how life is for me at the moment?

Same sh*t bro. I dropped from 2.7k mmr and 2.2k cr to 1.8k mmr and 2k cr in 6-7 games lose streak. And it was impossible to come back. Now I am at 1600 lol, playing only for fun (but it’s rarely funny at this rate xD). This mode is so RNG.
Once you hit that lose streak, it’s game over. You just need to get on a big win streak again for it to end.
Did you really drop from 2.7K to 1.6K? Is that even possible? If you were 2.7K once, I was thinking you are not losing any points for lose from 2.5K an below. This is so strange.

If we are talking about MMR - I’ve dropped from 2.7k (2.2k cr) to 1.8k-1.9k (2k cr). It was 6-7 games lose streak, I don’t remember clearly. Then after couple of days playing with such MMR deficit with 50% winrate and gaining +5-8 for win and losing -14-18 for lose I gave up to be honest. And then I started to leave from BGs getting -200 cr for each.
It’s possible to recover, but you need a good win streak.
I was playing with my warrior buddy yesterday and the day before that on an alt.
We started at around 2k mmr and won most, went up to 2.2 mmr, started losing and deranked to 1.9. Then started winning again and went up all the way to 2.7, then lost some and finished his 2.4 cr at around 2.5 mmr.
Everyone can be screwed over by bad RNG when it comes to their teammates, but as long as you win more than you lose on average you should be able to recover. Duo queuing with someone reliable might reduce the RNG and make it easier to recover.
Duo queue is a key thing here imo. I have no friends-healers ingame. I think I am not alone with it. And searching a mate in LFG is a thing that I’ve always hate.

I have entered a losing streak for the 3rd time in the past 2 weeks which always leaves me at 1.7k mmr and 1.7k CR, absolutely wild, right? Unable to escape until 3-4 days of solid playing until I get a lucky winstreak to fix it
Bbgs are so luck based. i feel like they should really create some form of bad luck protection against losing streaks.
Nothing worst then having 2200 playing whit 1600 players…

I dont understand why do you protest on this… Blitz bg means you play with random people. So no one knows anyone. No one imposes tactics and even if he does, not anyone feels obliged to follow.
Some they dont even play to get rating. Some they want to troll. Some are bad players but lucky to get your rating and play with you. This is called randomness.
And believe it or not, it shows your true value as a player.
No scripted orders, no beforehand strategical coordination, no actual leader.
Randomness. It s you and everyone else too against randomness.
If you want guarantee progress make rbg team and play rbg.

I had the same happen to me. I quit that char. No way I can get a huge win streak in the troll mmr as a healer, who cant force any objectives. And 50% win loss as a pure rng it is down there gets me, as you mentioned losses for 20+ and wins for zero. I consider the character bricked and unplayable.
It is actually the same as in moba games, sometimes you win or lose where nothing depends on you, but if you played hundreds of games and you stuck somewhere, then its rating where you belong.
