Game is randomly crashing

Hello, I noticed random crashes when I am playing WoW (retail or classic). When the game crash, my screen turns black for 2-3 seconds. After that I see my desktop and after that I can continue in playing.

I tried all recommended steps:

Reset my user interface
Update drivers and OS
Close all other applications
Run repair tool
Tried swtiching to DirectX 11

After that I tried reinstall WoW.

But nothing helps me.

Screen turning black for a few seconds, is pretty typical behaviour of a graphics card crash, and windows rebooting the graphics driver.

Check in your windows event log, that might have more information.

I am suspecting overheating of the GPU, causing it.

I am afraid the point raised by Trovlak may be correct, the gx log you posted basically shows that the video card briefly stops working, causing the crash of the game client and the black screen.

This looks like a TDR (Timeout Detection and Recovery if you are looking for more technical details) and overheating is one of the most common cause of this kind of problems. You can follow this guide to check if any of your Hardware components are indeed overheating.

Having this problem aswell first time in years of playing WoW, did check my temps they are nicely between 60-70.

Reïnstalled WoW.
Deleted every Addon.
Deleted OverWolf.
Repaied WoW.
GPU Updated.

Dont have this on other games

For some reason i cant aswell make a support ticket keep getting an error to try again later.

Dont think its needed anymore i think its a problem with WoW + DX12 and the newest Nvidia drivers. Did switch to DX11 and currently no problems
