Did something change on wednesday? Game is not smooth anymore, Im having serious fps drops both inside arenas and outside in the open world.
I have tried changing between directx 11 and 12, fiddling with graphic settings and nothing helps. I can have the lowest graphics settings and still have a choppy game.
Turning off addons does not change anything, reloading does nothing either.
Any suggestions here?
I have 4090 and 13900k if it matters

Have you checked if your CPU is running at full speed (at least on one core that WoW is using) and not throttling (temps)?
Anything in the background running using up too much ressources?
Yes, and everything seemed normal.
I did reset my bios settings, which I havent touched in two years and it solved the problem for me. I have no Idea why
Ok good, but make sure that your RAM XMP profile is loaded or you will lose ALOT of performance if it is running at default.
Nah, something did happen since Wednesday. The game freezes a lot for 5-10 seconds, especially after loading screens. Something is off.

I have the same issue. sometimes when I launch the game it is very choppy, and sometimes it is ok, but usually very choppy
