Game is too fast. Can u normalize GCD for all same ? I prefer for melees 1,5 gcd…
#RemovePvPCompletely.
No, Gcd is fine the way it is, It’s the late expansion haste levels making you feel that way.
It’s impossible to balance PvE and PvP simultaneously. So long as they are joined one game-mode has to suffer.
But casters have 1,5 sec GCD melees 1 sec… Time to normalization.

Better remove M+
#RemoveRaidingCompletely.
This sounds like HELL.
Unless you like to go and get a drink between each ability, of course…

Awwh it didn’t work.
I don’t think PvP is too fast though - it’s too visually noisy. Almost the entire game is. Soooooo many spells, having 50 effects on your character at the same time is now common and most of them don’t do anything relevant or interesting anyway.
Please do, Too complicated nowdays, Wish these 1 billion mech raids on retail died years ago.
Just install 3 addons to tell you how to play your pvp class noob
#getgid
Then normalize it arround 1 sec for all not only for melees.
Melees:
- Can’t attack on range consistently (exception Paladin with certain Talents)
mobility
- Need to stay always close to be able to attack
Meanwhile Casters:
- Can attack from up to 40y range (or more, with talents)
- Deal good ranged damage
- Can debuff on range
- Have fair mobility across all classes
- Have utility spells (like Invisibility on Mage)
- Benefit the most from Haste stat compared to some Melee classes
I think it is rather fair for melee to be actually faster at melee… Considering they are the melee classes
If you don’t want the GCD to be fast, play without any haste. Simple.
Or you can pvp like i do on my prot war. I pretty much only use haymaker and dragoncharge to yeet people off cliffs

I think a way to help people get used to the pace of the game is to possibly introduce players into an environment where it is a lot slower. Something like an AI bot like they are doing with dungeons. In this environment, the player can dictate the pace of the game and as they become more experienced, they can up the tempo. Like you said, I do not think that the pace of the game is too fast (although it could be, maybe, IDK) but I think for noob players like myself, it’s certainly could be too fast given that in PvP, enemies will just pop their whole CDs and go at you from the get go.
Tat being said, I do not think that practice is the only way to improve your muscle memory/reaction times to handle with the pace of the game. There is the other important aspect to deal with which is knowledge and of course, I do think players should also take initative to actually learn other classes by playing it themselves, reading guides or w/e to be better prepared as well.
100% this, I started doing some solo shuffle (goal was to get challenger) and the first time it was horrible. To much visuals that make hard even seeing where your character is (the worse is when you are aganist a BM hunter with all those pets)
Regarding the GDC, I think (but i still have a lot to learn) that a lower GCD is fair for casters, melee are most time always on their target while casters they also have to manage when to cast to avoid interruptions.
But we’re ranged though. Like, we can hit people from far away. That’s pretty nice.
I don’t think there’s a problem here, I really don’t. I do think we’re too GCD locked though but often when I say this people just think there should be less on the GCD, but that just makes the game faster. I think that it’s okay for not every GCD to be a massive attack or a setup for one. I’d rather have Frostbolt deal good damage instead of having to cast 5 of the bloody things that do nothing only for then to have enough resources to do the thing Frostbolt should’ve been doing in the first place (Glacial Spike).
But this is never gonna happen. The riots would consume all the world - because pressing buttons really fast that do nothing is apparently great gameplay. Well, can’t say I agree, but it doesn’t bother me to the point of wanting to quit, either - for as long as my wrist allows, anyway.
