Game keeps crashing due to "insufficient memory"

Greetings all,

A few weeks ago my game keeps crashing due to not enough memory available. This is weird because I have 16gb RAM and also play WoW on an SSD. At first it happened whenever I opened Google Chrome and watched a YouTube video or something. But the last few days the crashes kept occuring even if I didn’t have any other programs running in the background, except for Spotify.

The error message I’m getting is:

"This application has encountered a critical error:

Not enough memory resources are available to process this command.

I have tried everything in the support article on the WoW website, plus running the Scan and Repair of WoW.

Heya Ninh,

Thanks for including all the information you have. This specific crash is typically simply UI corruption or addons going haywire. For this, resetting the game’s UI to its defaults likely address the issue.

If the issue persists, it is possible the game client may be damaged. Deleting and reinstalling the client should help here.

I tried resetting the game’s UI and then re-installing the Addons one by one. The crash happens every time I try installing the WeakAuras addon or when I try to open the wagio website while WoW is running in the background. Then I got the error: “Your 3D accerelator card is not supported by World of Warcraft.” But that disappeared when I updated my graphic cards driver. It’s a total mess, I don’t know what happened because I didn’t have this problems two weeks ago …

Same problem here, have to unsub at this point

Just had the same problem only difference is I had no addons what so ever as it was a clean reinstall of wow on a empty SSD and I have 16gig of Ram
