Game keeps disconnecting/loading very long. Also getting "Transfer canceled: Instance not found" reports

Has been like that for the past 24 hours for me.

I did restart internet, PC multiple times, did repair WoW twice via the tool, even reset my UI and also did simply wait. By now I also reset the internet drivers entirely too.

And I keep encountering those issues.

Are there currently service problems or why is WoW exclusively making such trouble?

Edit 1: Apparently the “World Server is down”. Whatever that means

I also have the same issue, and tried the usual steps you already mentioned.

Latency is good (~30 ms), and I don’t have any disconnects - only the transfer to a instance fails sometimes. If I try it enough, at some point I get to the instance - but most of the time it fails.

Glad to hear, that I’m not the only one.

same for me. Every time I change an instance, I get the message: “transfer canceled: instance not found”

I’m also getting this issue. Time to post a couple of auctions, then the game D/Cs. UK based, connecting to Argent Dawn EU.

Same here for AD.

Idk if other realms are affected, but I can imagine it may be due to the realm reaching its character limits.

Same problem here on AD. Seems to be stable enough in capital cities, and managed to do an old raid or two, but will disconnect within 5-10 minutes if I go into Westfall/Duskwood/Stranglethorn. Logging back in after the disconnect will put the character where it entered the zone.

The long logins seem to always come paired with a VoiceError: 16 message, so something seems to be funky in general.

Update: After bisecting this issue with Wireshark, it seems that a SYN packet to 37.244.62.124:3724 got ignored. And after several retransmissions it ran into a timeout.

After poking the forums, it seems increasing the TTL helped. At least I didn’t experienced the “Instance not found” issues since then.

But this issue seems to be an Linux exclusive one (I’m running Arch & Steam/Proton). So If you guys are on Windows, I’m not sure if this solution applies to you. But maybe this knowledge somehow leads into the right direction.
