Hey,
After the patch last wednesday, my game keeps freezing/locking up for about 1-2 seconds whenever i turn in quests or complete world quests, sometimes kill mobs, loot the boxes arround mechagon.
I’ve already tried turning off all addons with no change, it’s really driving me crazy.
Anyone got a solution, my pc specs are below
Win 7
I7 4770k
Gtx 1080
16 Gb Ram
Same here, getting massive frame drops either randomly or when I turn in a quest. Experimented reducing everything to lowest setting but still got the drops. Additionally changing to DirectX11 did nothing.
Also also: I have no addons installed.
Win 10
Ryzen 7 1700
GTX 1080Ti
16GB RAM
Someone posted a potential fix, and it actually worked for me, somehow even reducing load times - [Potential] Solution to freezes and quest lag (8.2.5)
You do need to run it from the _retail_ folder though, because the launcher will reset the permissions.
Blizzard have acknowledged the freezing problem and are looking into a solution though, so don’t worry, they do know about it.
