Hello!
Pretty much the title! Whenever I hit play to start the game, nothing at happens at all. I’ve tried doing the scan & repair which doesn’t fix anything.
Are there any other solutions that might fix this? I’ve been thinking that it can’t be a blizzard side issue. Unless? lol.
This happened to me an hour ago. I tried multiple times.
A few minutes later, 4 different WoW tabs opened all at once.

This has been happening all day. Very frustrating.
I was watching a documentary when I suddenly got jumpscared by the login screen, glad it’s finally up and running! Still a bit odd that it’s taking so long to start.
Kill duplicates in task manager - you will have multiple WOW running.
Hit the play button then wait, wait a bit longer, clear you email inbox and by about then it should launch 
just out of interest … because i had this issue this morning … just did a full reinstall… Did this main post receive any GM reply??
same click on play went for a cuppa tea and toast came back and it still had not logged in

Well since the bigger thread was just closed for no apparent reason (and without actual acknowledgement from blizz) i’ll post this tip here:
Region hopping to the US via a VPN after launching battle.net (not WoW) and then starting WoW seems to also work.
When the game starts, disconnect the VPN and WoW will disconnect you, just press reconnect and it’ll log-in normally.
Same here. Taking forever to load, and then loads of windows all at once. Any news from Blizz or are they just letting us stew as usual?
