Game (Wow Classic) not launching as many others have reported. I played last night no problem, this morning it wont launch. World of Warcraft is a background process that remains at 0% CPU but periodically awakens and consumes 0.1% CPU briefly. I wonder if it is stuck for some reason trying to query the bios/cpu/microcode version. I have a 14th gen intel CPU with 0x129 microcode. Wow pops up a dialog warning me that this is the case before starting the game. Can we have a blue comment on this please, it is a very annoying issue. Thanks.
[edit]
After about five minutes the background task disappeared, World of Warcraft appeared as a child of Battle.net as a foreground task, the icon appeared on the task bar and the microcode warning dialog appeared. The game launched.

there’s already a huge topic about this
It’s not, I have even newer than 0x129 microcode, 0x12F. I always flash updates BIOS when there was one available, got 14th Gen i7-14700KF.
