For the past few days, my Mac has had issues updating the WoW client. The support article for the error is for Windows, but it mentions killing the Agent process and I just wanted to report that if your Mac is persistently refusing to update WoW, quit Battle.net, start Activity Monitor, look for the Agent process and open the information window for it and click on “Quit” to terminate that process. Then launch Battle.net and the game should update (a new instance of Agent will launch automatically).
