Recently built a new pc (Ryzen 7 9800x3D, 5070, DDR5 32gb 6400hz ram) and every other game I’ve tried run very good but as soon as I open wow it starts at 60 fps then instantly tanks down to 30 fps in dornogal and my entire pc gets extremly laggy. Also worth nothing that cpu usage goes up to 70% when opening wow. I’ve read through all the forums thats in any way similar and tried every solution I can find.
The only thing i can think of is something i read a couple of days ago.
Someone posted that his CPU was downclocking when WoW was running in window fullscreen mode or so.
Can you look at your CPU clockspeed when running WoW?
Does it boost?
If not, try switchting to window mode and see what happens.
