Slow/Grandpa version of doing that would be to log all your chars one at a time and type /played and then add up
Install altoholic, log each and every character, it gives a total time played at bottom of screen, how accurate this is have no idea.
^^ This
After you install you’ll just need to log on to every alt.
Then in the menus you’ll have a total played per realm and a total overall.
the way i did it was typing /played on all my characters then adding that up then adding about 1000 hours for delete alts.
i came to about 15000hours played since 2005
wow is my most played game by a long shot…
my second is ff14 at 3000 hours.
EDIT: im pretty proud of that 15000 hours honestly… i thought it would be much higher… as i known people in ff14 reach 15000 hours in less than 3 years.
Soo they played for more than 12 hours a day on average ? What kind of people those were ?
yes - get altoholic addon and then log in your all chars on all servers
That is really unhealthy game play for mind and body playing that much every day.
well the guy in question met his gf on the game and they literally never logged off of it for a long time lol…
i think they sit at well over 30000 hours now…
12 hours per day sounds like a lot… but it isnt really when ur enjoying it… or playing it for a reason…
most of my 15000 in wow was in the first two expansions for example… only played about 2 - 3k hours wotlk onwards.(vanilla and tbc)
It is a lot for a person with "normal " life .
8 hours of work . Lets say 1 hour of traveling there and back. Another hour of eating before/after , and perhaps a shower and stuff. Thats 10 hours . Then u are left with 14. 12 for games , 2 for sleep?
Even if u opted to play like a loooot , like 16 hours per weekend , u still would have to play like at least 8 hours a day on average , thats totaly unhealthy, and u realistic for anyone with “normal” life and time shelude
it is unhealthy
why i used to weigh so much
Being cramped over a pc for 12 hours per day for 3 years is what the maths is telling me is doing more harm then smoking its really sad if it is true at these numbers.
they didnt work lol
and some days played more than 12 hours.
well if u still play the same amount of time 30k hours but in smaller portions is still “kinda” adds up to the same…
i realised it was unhealthy anyway hence why i dont hardly touch the game anymore.
besides launches and end patches…
and shadowlands endpatch im skipping.
i cant speak for them i dunno what they do now last i saw they still actively played ff14 up to 12 a day.
That must have been mostly light farming.
well knowing the guy he was playing his lalafel humping all the catgirls legs until he met his gf.
he met 6 girls in that game before he met his gf lol
every single time i’d be a good wingman … and make him out to be some kind of god… they all loved him…
he was actually a horrible person honestly.
Thats why i mentioned its not possible for anyone with normal life …
well none of us exactly had a normal life back then …
very sheltered, saved money from previous jobs, unemployed, addicted to mmorpgs lol
If you have deleted any of the characters you played, you won’t be able to get your total /played. Using the addon or counting it manually will only work if you kept around all the characters you played on.
Altoholic.
Last time I checked it all was in MoP, by then I was at over 4 and a half years all together.
I have a handicap irl both mentally and physically so I only really play games or socialise over Internet, so for me its “normal”.
For a normal person who isnt plagued by any issues and can work etc, my /played is insane.
I have come to terms with this.
But really; Altoholic and log all your characters and then do the same on every account you have (I have 8) and add them together.
