Game time question

Hi people. Im noob for retail WoW about game times, subscription etc. I have one question and I apologize if I’ve posted in wrong forum section.

I have 20 days left (I bought 30 days game time) so I want to buy BFA, and you get 30 days free when you buy it. So if I buy now, do I have then 50 days remaining or my 20 days game time just dissappear? Following the logic I should have 50 days then. But I’m not sure about it. So anyone had that experience?

I’m 99.999999999999999999999999999999% sure it stacks additively.

Thanks on replay

Indeed. any additional gametime is stacked on top of existing game time. The only way your game time disappears is by the clock moving forward.

No, you don’t get any gametime with the expansion. Since you have bought gametime already you can’t buy the version with gametime.

The act of buying gametime turns your account into a legion account and it’s no longer a new account.

Yeah as Dottie said you can’t buy BfA that includes gametime, you need to buy BfA and gametime seperatly and as many mentioned it just gets added up to what you have left.

Because you still have 20 days left you don’t need to buy the gametime right away though.

Oh, so it’s says that when I buy Bfa I get 30 days free, but if I have already game time I won’t get those 30 days provided with Bfa. I understand now thanks

No.

As Dottie said, when you buy BfA you do not get 30 days free gametime.
This is BfA: https://eu.shop.battle.net/en-gb/product/world-of-warcraft-battle-for-azeroth

When you buy the Complete Collection, you do get 30 days of game time:

but you cannot buy the Complete Collection and apply it to an existing account that already has gametime.

Hey Equnax!

I just wanted to chime in and confirm that Gráinne’s response is absolutely correct. As you now have a full game account from purchasing those 30 days you’re on now, you’re not eligible for a Complete Collection purchase anymore which is the only upgrade that comes with 30 days free. You could only buy a direct Battle for Azeroth expansion upgrade, which does not come with additional game time.

The good news though, and to answer your other question: game time does indeed “stack up”, so if and when you purchase more today it would simply extend your game time by the amount of days you’re buying. You could also activate a recurring subscription instead. This will simply renew automatically when your current game time is close to running out to keep things going without any hassle :).

This link to a support article should help explain it further as well: https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/32539

I hope you’re having fun on your first spin through Azeroth!
