Yeh i still don’t fully understand all the Covenant stuff tbh its quite a lot to wrap your head around unless your quite deep into the game i just play too do dungeons and try chill with people but hopefully next expansion is good and i can commit from the start so I don’t feel left behind

This is perfectly normal. The game does a terrible job of telling you the bare minimum.
Also don’t listen to the other person telling you what a grind is/isn’t. That is their opinion on ‘grindy’ content which is entirely built up around their playtime. I know, go figure.
Do your own thing and ignore that blithering blood elf.
I don’t mind the game either like i stated i still pay lots for it and still play it i was just expressing what was on my mind even if i hold a wrong opinion about it i just feel like a lot of content isn’t casual friendly in my eyes or maybe I’m just stupid for not being able to optimise my time lol
You’re not stupid. The game certainly isn’t overly generous to casual players at present. A topic discussed frequently on here.
It’s better now but yeah before 9.2 or even 9.1.5 it was terrible.
However joining now still leaves you with a fair bit of catch up. You’ll figure it out though!

I think it is always more confusing coming back late into an expansion, it’s possible to catch up to a certain extent but there isn’t really anything to guide you through it all other than by asking questions. There are no stupid questions 
Legion had the same issue where people didn’t really know what they should or shouldn’t be bothering with.

And like I said, you are a spoiled little kid who thinks he should get everything handed to you for 0 effort. I came up with pretty valid arguments, and you are the only calling me that I have no concept of reality. You should also check other comments here, as you are clearly pissing against the wind. Even the OP is not as defensive as you are anymore.
This is not a discussion whether I like something, whether someone dislikes something and how bad the game is. The OP and the poster below him stated a few items / skills and said how grindy the game is (flying in SL, anima, honor level 30 and your covenant campaign). My answers have been nothing but facts as how wrong they are just purely for the arguments they brought up, and how easy all of these 4 things are to obtain. This is not a point of discussion or a matter of opinion, as it’s just facts. You can’t argue with me how flying is grindy to obtain in SL? And what a pain the covenant campaign is to complete? Or tell me that 20k anima is difficult to farm? Even the OP himself actually found out that what I said is not wrong, the only person arguing with me is that lazy mage above who clearly has the mentality ‘I’m paying for the game, I should get all the gems it offers’.

This is a huge issue and I can 100% understand your frustration here. As someone who has been active for so many years, I know what’s happening and what’s about to go down. You on the other hand, even if you are intelligent, educated etc etc. (which I think you are, not doubting you), it’s hard to get through because of the 93293 currencies, 28928 borrowed powers, 23758532 systems and so on.

if there wasnt some level of grind wouldnt the game be less populated ?
Avoid using the term ‘casual’ as it serves no purpose really; too many people have vastly different definitions of that term.
And that’s fine. You don’t have to. Nothing wrong with that.
But if you WANT that transmog, you’re expected to put in the work.
I hate all of the covenant unique activities (path of ascension, abominable stitching and that sort of stuff). There’s transmog gated behind it and so I won’t get those. I accept that. I don’t go around asking for those activities to be removed.
Never asked for them too be removed tbh was more a rant on how i was feeling

yh it is very much designed to keep you online ,
i just ignore all the pve stuff now and casually play pvp. in fact most weeks i spend about 4 hours playing pvp just to get a vault and then log out
im literally unsubbed and have -20 days of sub left ill be most likely jsut chilling until Diablo4 or prepatch
sometimes you know that your Time is worth more, if the rewards and game isnt fun , just unsub and dont play
No you haven´t, so that whole I played for 10 year cliche speech is boring and dull, game was way grindier in Vanilla, TBC and WOTLK, the fact that you say SL is grindy just proves you are full of bs.

If you paid attention i was trying to indicate that due to the sense of community and the fact that the game is no longer as fun as it was it seems a lot more grindy for me personally, i know the games only got easier i mean it used to take ages to get to max level and now you can do it it in a few days but still if you read through the thread someone helped me with my issue
the game was less grindy before, u hit max lvl and that was it, u did pre bis and just made sure u had consume for raiding.
Now u gotta farm timegated renown,daily quests for reps. grindy stuff like torghast, or flux from ZM. and as well as forced storyline. and even forced storlyine if u somehow reach 3k io on ur alts to get conduits.
THe game is a mess…
I miss just hitting max lvl and be ready for every thing. and not forced ingame on a daily basis.
