Oh and btw, i also had a lot of mobs being bugged out on top of roofs, especially with the Iron Horde one so its just bugged as hell atm.
Just report it as bugged or make a ticket ( for the ones who are bothered with it ofc).
Oh yeah I had that too, they were stuck on walls, I had to mount up and fly from spot to spot to kill them.

Iâm not sure being able to AFK content is really working as intended but if itâs not possible to complete solo then hopefully giving feedback in game and on the forums will help them identify issues and tune accordingly.

Last week I saw (randomly, but very luckily in hindsight) that I had a Goren Invasion! quest ready to go, (I usually just buy Iron Horde missive and then let guards do most of the work each week) but I thought why not just do the Goren one as itâs available?
For the first few mins I didnât really take it seriously expecting guards to clear it up for me, but when I noticed 3 mins in that the points were low, I pushed really hard and JUST scraped 1300.
I initially thought âWell, Iâm not doing the Goren one again!â until I realised Blizzard have just messed up loads of old content. I picked it up again today to see if it was just luck, and I managed it with a 1554 finish. (I have Magic Broom from Hallowâs End which obviously helps, but I managed without it last week and that was with me not trying hard the first few mins. I recorded each minute that went by and what points I was on.
1 minute: 168
2 minutes: 340
3 minutes: 483
4 mins: 655
5 mins: 800
6 mins: 1000
7 mins: 1150
8th and final minute: 1295
1359 after clear up, then 1554 after boss.
As you can see, some minutes are slower than others, but just hang around the middle when itâs quiet and then rush to Alliance spies, rylaks, Gronnlings and the earthquake guy. Be in Warmode so you have the extra PVP abilities as well.
TL;DR the Goren invasion is harder than before, but definitely possible.
I tried the Shadowmoon invasion, and it was definitely not possible for me.
I got platinum last week. I note that the guards have been nerfed and you have to actually do all the legwork now.
Previously you could get platinum whilst afk.
God forbid you actually do something to get somethingâŚ
Iâve been struggling a lot with this too, I was doing Iron Horde invasions and I was always just off (actively running around, killing stuff)
I then did Shadowmoon, that was fine, I managed to get 1300+ by around 80-100, but the ativation missives are really annoying.
So then I tried Ogre, buying missive for Stonefury Cliffs for 200 resources, there are many mobs there and some elites that give 20%, close to garrison too (horde ofc), and the invasion itself is BIS. packs of 2-3 spawn, 5 VP for each, you leave combat super fast so are able to fly, I managed 1747 on my warrior and 1679 on my hunter. I really recommend it. Not sure if itâs the best, but itâs more than good enough for me.
I did it yesterday on my druid, it was Botanic invasion and got platinum. Ofcourse in this one the mobs spawn a lot in the middle so its easier, but its nice for the onces that still want to farm this. Good luck!
This seems to be an oversight, rather than intended. I implore everyone to send this issue as a bug report in the game through the menu. The guards should scale with our characterâs level, as they have in the past two expansions.

in fact there are many mistakes with chromie time⌠f.e. in darktide roost xp given by rexxar are 1\3 of the normal. i hope theyâll fix these things soonâ˘

Itâs something I and others reported on the PTR so, it not being fixed yet is generally a bad sign. Invasions I could get platinum on before I canât even while trying with barrage, even worse on something like my spriest that has to sit still to cast aoe.
