arcane explosion 5 second stuns, yummy.
frost just needs all his instant spells not have chill effects
frostbite removed
double nova talent removed
but also the duration and dmg break should be into the frost nova (lets be honest, there are not many classes that cannot break ONE root every 30 seconds)
frostfire bolt cast time should be longer, there shouldn’t be instant frostfire
there should be HALF ice lance flying
there should be half flurry flying
those are the nerfs
I know I’ll say something controversial but I like Garrote Silence being in the game. I don’t like it’s current form where you can silence whole team on Vanish with Subterfuge. I think that Rogues playstyle was always around these “risk → reward” plays where you sacrifice one of your defensives which is Vanish to silence the healer for this key few secs just to close the game. I don’t know if it’s possible to code it but it would be cool if you only first Garrote out of stealth would silence. The problem is though if it wouldn’t also affect the damage of it because I can imagine that’s the key part of PvE rotation where you spread big Garrote out of stealth. Maybe even add a PvP modifier where stealth Garrote would deal way more damage but could be applied only once.
Assassination isn’t top dog actually so I don’t believe that Garrote Silence is op by any means in the current state of the game. It’s for sure frustrating to play against but that’s the theme for retail for me recently. It’s actually better balanced than Classic but… it’s frustrating to play due to such micro CCs and mobility bloat.
Really poor logic. A spec not being ‘top dog’ does not change that a mechanic is fundamentally overpowered and that it should not be nerfed.
It would be like saying ‘Frost Mage isn’t top dog so all of their slows, roots and mobility aren’t OP!’
If Assa’s current place in the meta improved through one way or another, the fundamental issues and the overpowered natures that come with Garrote are still present and exacerbated. It needs a complete redesign and its power needs to be put into something else.

If it was op then Assassination would be S tier but it’s not. Op means overpowered. How can you be overpowered when you are middle of the pack. In certain metas it can be overpowered but isn’t in the current moment. Also your interpretation of my opinion doesn’t matter. It’s my opinion and you may have other that’s how world works baby.
Horrendous logic, yet again. A fundamental mechanic being overpowered does not change much when the spec has other weaknesses which prevent it from being elevated in the meta. A spec not being overpowered doesn’t change that it has an overpowered mechanic. How is this difficult to grasp?

Well you play too much and spend too much time on the forums for it to be truth. It’s my 3rd game of playing since December. If you were successful IRL you’d know how much time it takes. If you have relationship, good 9-5 job and you work on yourself it’s not possible to nerd on the forums like you do it.
