This thread started regarding gatekeeping and rdf, but i realy wish that if blizzard stoped for second and realized some very very basic things that exists since world of warcraft original, PVP Gear should stay in PVP scenario. PVP should not be any way neared dun because if mobs where not so much nerfed i would like to see guy in brutal gear taking crushing blow of heroic boss and be at 10% if healer would choose him or blue geared dung tank, if he choosed the pvp player thats just result in whipe and i think thats the way the community choosed to destroy every classic launch of the game we love.

Then why do you keep asking for it? RDF was added in the ICC patch towards the end of WOTLKâs expo cycle. This was stated like a thousand times by now. It wasnât in from the beginning. I donât even understand what the big deal is. You played through all of Classic and TBC without it.
It is pointless to even try and explain to people who want to change the old game.
It was not in WOTLK at the start, only right near the end. People donât like it because it was the first step blizzard took to removing everything. Yeah RFD alone isnât terrible, I still donât like it and donât want it.
Why? What the hell is the point in an MMO, where you can legitimate level from 15-80 without ever moving your character outside of the dungeon?
Get to level 15 â stand in city â spam queue DGs till max level. Look at retail now, you can hit max level in like 8 hours without moving around the world for more than 5 minutes.
We donât want it, we donât it near the game at all, we donât want the future of classic to be heading the same road as retail. As soon as people become competent it will spread and they will be rolling at Vanilla servers with raid finder.

People can still play how they want, if you want a spell cleave group then go ahead. There are plenty of people playing normally, Iâve had no issues finding groups in Northrend for DGs on my Paladin and my Rogue.
RDF encourages people to not touch the world, people will get complacent, and within 6 months no one will be bothering with quests, just a game of AFKers in stormwind waiting for the queue.
You just picked bits out of what I said and ignored the rest⌠I played in TBC, I played in Wrath, I watched this happen to the game and it just got worse the more they added in.
If the only thing keeping RDF out the game does this expac is make sure at least 2 people in a group have to run to a summoning stone, Ill the happy, because I know what adding RDF leads too.

Donât misunderstand, I agree with everything on that list. I would have preferred more servers with lower play caps and no layers. Some of my best memories in wow when I was younger was handing out in places like Goldshire, didnât even need to add people to my friends list as it was always the same group.
But as far as I am concerned asking for RDF is just adding another one to that list of thing ruining it. This is my point, it is always competency that kills everything. âWe may as well have this bad thing because there is always something worseâ is terrible mentality, it is why Retail wow is how it is today, cash shop and all.
I wonât be the one who just bends and watches it burn, if it happens anyway at least I can be happy knowing I tried to stop it and I will just leave, just like I did with retail.

Erm, LFD was added in in 3.3.0, the last major patch with the very last raid tier. When it was added we just thought it was a catch up mechanic to get people ready for the new expac then it stayed and got worse.
So even if you wanted it, you would need to wait for ICC to release for it to be in the game as it was originally.
Also, that does not change the fact that it is just another thing on the list to ruin the game. So far all I am hearing is âThe game is already ruined, may as well make it worseâ.
