Wow downhill have started when it stopped being game for some players and became their job. Since than, it is just bonkers.

Yes, RDF was not removed at all, because it has never been in Classic wow… It has just not been added, and it would have never been added at the start of the WOTLK, because it was intended as a catch up mechanic when it was first added. So they would not have added it prior to ICC.
They didn’t add it because of the outcry from their player base to not have it. There is a smaller group of people who want it because they don’t like the slow leveling, or they don’t like play an MMO (you know, finding a guild, playing with people, talking to people etc all that good stuff) and they want a way to solo play, then some experienced players with good gear say they cant join their group and these children start screaming.
