Was doing bgs last night and found that my gateway no longer worked in most of my normal places, like behind DB in AV after being thrown off the bridge I could no longer use it to get back into db behind south tower, I could not cast it behind the horde IB gy in AV, I could not cast it up to the rock at hangar by the flag, even though I can be reached by all mellee or cast upon.
Is this another stealth nerf.?
I couldnt cast gate to the enemy GY in WSG from bottom… but from top of hill i could cast it to down - its not nerfed, its stupid blizzard stuff as usual - giving warlocks troubles while buffing super mobile and strong classes
But this is a nerf to gatway its further restricted its use.
Yeah noticed too, it seems they reverted pathing changes from previous patches and made it worse again, which honestly sucks since it was a gods send in some situations.
Perfectly fine for DHs to leap everywhere but give warlocks some form of edge and nerf it immediately.
Weird they didn’t change shadow rift at all tho, hopefully they wont.
I’d like to add here that I think it’s extremely annoying and unprofessional that Blizzard makes so many undocumented stealth changes and nerfs with this class, it’s not enough that more than half of demos abilities tooltips do not even give any information regarding damage but we also have to guess every single hotfix or patch if something that worked too well with the class is nerfed again.
also in Arena , when i stay too close at the pillar i cant even cast it and tells me the spot is LOS when its clearly not LOS ! so you have stand 1-2 m away from pillar to get your gate out even if the other side for the placement is in your line
Its the same with life-grip from priests. It was to stop the constant disconnects through clipping walls and land graphics.
The fact you have to be away from the pillar in arena is a bit frustrating due to LOS and getting either a CS or Shear but adapt and overcome is what Blizzard always want for anyone who mains a Warlock.
