Flower picking has become woeful for along time but since when does haste effect Herbalism gathering speed ? All i see is troll mage’s are dropping down to low HP, popping berserking and another spell that i cannot remember the name of so is this a bug ? How long it been like this for and doubt it will be addressed right.
Sounds like yet another thing to add to the bug list for the new patch.

It’s been happening for a while from what i have read on realm discord, also Icy Veins is used so even quicker i watched the same Troll Mage gather a mana thistle before a player could finish and he was already 3sec into it literally 2-3 mins ago.
IIRC haste always affected gathering speed. I even seem to remember there used to be a black lotus in the middle of one of the versions of Vanilla AV, and there were mages with all the mount speed items and Mind Quickening Gem always winning it because their gather speed was faster than anyone else.
Now the fact that bots abuse this effect is entirely different discussion.

Curiously I tried to find similar discussions in the Internet, from the Classic TBC years and didn’t find. There are some of complains about gathering speed being affected by haste, from the Anniversary TBC servers, but none for Classic. Maybe it wasn’t widespread knowledge in 2021?
I can never remember it happening it og TBC or the previous version just Anniversary but also back then we never had MEGA server’s either.
