Gathering with Dragonriding

First and foremost i’d like to say that I do LOVE Dragonriding, it’s an amazing feature and very well done overall.

I’m having fun with it yet the only thing that is kind of annoying is mining/herbalism combined with it.

the buff we receive from the dragonriding talent tree doesn’t feel sufficient and most of the time I’m just waiting for vigor on the ground.

buffing the vigor gained from Dyamic Stretching(generate vigor while on the ground) and/or Dragonrider’s Cultivation would probably fix that awkward moment where we just sit around waiting for vigor - but if you guys have a solution for that i would love to hear.

also ,adding hover skill to the dragons would be an amazing feature!

I’m having the opposite instead :rofl: when I’m flying at 800% speed and I see all those herbs below me in my mind I’m like… :thinking: :thinking: :thinking: Nope… whoooooooooshhhhhhhhh

Me too, but only cause I see them for a split second anyways. Even if I turned back I’d waste a ton of time trying to find them as I realise they are hidden behind a rock wall, or are in a cave full of hostiles. :rofl:

Since my tree is maxed I only had this twice maybe, during one of those WQs where you use the dragon to kill flies way high up with those shockies nearby.

Even then it was because I was shocked 4 times before I found out what was going on :smiling_face_with_tear:

Dragonrider’s Cultivation is close to useless right now and i think it’s the main reason gathering feels bad, this talent absolutely needs to get buffed or changed to grant a full vigor.

i like this idea, 1 vigor for a plant sounds fair …

solution is simple give us the possibility to use normal mounts , there you go problem solved.

If you use flying up and the last passive upgrade talent in the talent tree on the right side, you will be able to replenish your vigor so fast that you will be able to fly up to the maximum point where you can. At that point you can glide over the whole area quite easily and if you tilt your kite down slightly your vigor will also refill. Thus we can say. That when one gets used to the fact that this maximum height limit on each map is different, one is able to fly all over the map without stopping.

Exactley the same, and when I try and get them I invariably crash into a tree, into the side of a mountain!!!

But often it’s just “Oh, look a leaf…and there it goes!!!” as it blows past at speed!!!

Lots of fun though, and such a giggle!!

Especially when 80% of the time its just a hochenblume wich only earns you like 2 g per piece on the ah. Nobody has time for those.

Also id rather not have herbing and gathering made easy just yet. Because once normal flying returns or easy gathering with df then the bots and multiboxxers will reappear very quickly
