I want to see the story and do the campaign. First it tells me to reach max level before I can continue, fine I was leveling anyhow and only needed 2 more levels.
Then it tells me I need rep to continue the campaign.
So I look at the Meta Quests which generally give good rep. First one in thre is called Archives the First Disc. It says progress the Campaign to unlock this.
So to unlock Archives I need the Campaign. To do the Campaign I need rep. To get rep I’m less sure. Lots of side quests but they removed the rep from those (something I thought was a good idea until now).
I’m not farming rep through WQs which give like 50 rep each. Not too sure what else is good rep.
Is there another Meta Quest (a weekly) that gives good rep?

Prove me wrong, but which campaign quest need reputation to unlock/complete it?

It says “To continue the campaign reach Renown Rank 4 with The War Within Factions”.
I think the main story quests in the zones should give enough reputation without touching any side quests at all.
But i agree its stupid to lock quests behind reputations.

You get a quest from Brann that you do until it asks you to confirm that you have Renown Rank 4 with all the factions.
I did all the side quests along with the story quests so I didn’t have that issue.
But anyway, this is much easier than what they did in Shadowlands and Dragonflight.
I have one called “To Delve” or something. I guess it’s time to start delving. Only done one so far and that was part of the campaign early on.
I might have missed the mark here but I too got stuck there. Not sure about the renown but all I had to do was find a quest called Meet the Fleet where you meet Jaina and Thrall in Dornagal. Did one or two from there and then the quest became active for me and the portal to the BFA Chamber of Heart appeared. After that had to spam dungeons, WB and Delves for 100 titanic discs.
I now have access to this quest.
Yesterday I finished of the Janky Candles quests in Ringing Deeps which gave a pet. I only had to do the Granny story scenarios. This gave me enough rep to reach Renown 4 with the factions required to continue the campaign. So I was pretty close. But even so, needing any Renown just to do the story isn’t great.
I don’t like how reps / renown works now. I liked it in MOP. I could do dailies for 3 weeks (give or take a week) and be exalted with that faction. And I knew why I was doing it, for recipes or a mount or what ever else the quarter master sold. Now it takes months of chores (for want of a better word) to have rep dribble into the renowns that I don’t really know or care unlock. So many aspects of the game are gated by renown now, it’s not longer an optional effort you undertake for specific rewards - it’s basically a mandatory grind.
They haven’t removed rep from the side quests entirely. Completing the non-campaign zone quests will earn you 2-3 renown per zone faction, usually at the end of a short chain of quests for each sub area of the zone. Completing the levelling campaign should give you 3-4 renown with each faction. You shouldn’t find it hard to hit 6-7 renown if you actually do the zone quests and the campaign. Then you get more from the max level campaign section.
I came back 3 days ago and got the expansion, im already caught up with you guys 
You may have caught me but not many others I suspect.
I was away most of the first month and since my return I’ve not rushed it. I’m slow at this game, always have been. I remember back in TBC / Wrath times it would take me around a week to do a level. So roughly 2 months to get to max.
