Gavel of the First Arbiter

Hello,
Ive just got and upgraded my gavel with the dinar system.
I must say its the most overtuned weapon ive ever used, i understand its a failed expansion and they did alot of system etc testing.
But they should really not make items from the last boss in a raid tier drop something so powerful that it completly negates the ilvl from m+15 by a landslide…
At this point its just a slap in the face of those who dont raid or die mentality…
Give m+ something similar, or just do it as before where a big boss item was just ivl and a cool unique tmog.
IMO

But, as you say, everyone can get it from running LFR now. Hardly raid or die.

There’s not a comparable M+ targeted loot system for running say, 10 M+0s .

It’s just a band aid for this end of the expansion, Ion said in the last interview, the dinar system won’t be used in Df.
So if they make those kind of items again, it’s raid or die without the dinar system.

I mean; I use it on my main as a guardian tank…
That says enough about how silly it is.

I thought it was a meme first but then saw that nope; its actually insanely good for druid eventho it has 0 agility.

I hope they do not change it now since we already spent dinars and upgrades on it, but maybe they should think a tiiiiny bit ahead for some stuff made in the future.

Yeah, thats all im saying here, in the future they shoud really reconsider this kind of stuff.

The game is designed for echo and liquid what do you expect… Ion still thinks raiding is the most enjoyable content of all players. But in reality m+ fits more into the actual generation of players. Log in when you want and do some keys. Log out. Done.

Raiding is an old concept with too much organization it’s not HARD it’s just complex to build a raid group which has people without a job or people who see wow as their job(streamers)

Nah they have made it clear before that M+ and raiding are the same boat unlike pvp VS pve. If you want to push at the highest level of pve you need to do both to some extent and its fine really, unless you are doing high keys like 22+ you dont really need to get the best gear possible to clear and time them.

Nah Some of the coolest features of raiding from back in the day was tier sets alongside end bosses having nutty loot drops, I only do M+ nowadays since it better for my schedule but its perfectly fine having raid end bosses have loot that you can remember its same still unlike other xpacs where its just a raw stat+Ilvl increase :sleeping_bed:

i disagree, they should do this…because m+ 15 is a joke
the rewards from m+ are already much too high for the difficulty in this kind of content.

Ion said it in an interview? Then it must be true. It will probably be called “dinat” or “dinae”…

M0 items max upgrade cost from 2750 to 4800 valor to up (6k for 2 handed) if i counted it right. Max lvl not even 304. Dont think that even worth it.

Also m+ still has 9-10 types of loot from the chest, if you got any at all.

Raiding as it is in wow now with convoluted sytems made to counter addons, is a clusterfug.
M+ is the most succesful PVE system by far, raiding is some boomer cry.
Having stupid af powerful items from the last boss of a raid tier is actually trolling.
And i agree M+15 isnt that hard, but no one said you should get specific powerful item from a +15 mythic it could be a progres thing like raiding.
Tying BIS items or achievements/mounts ETC. to end game has proven disastrous for the majority of the playerbase who barely participate in that, its a lesson that they refuse to learn due to a VERY loud minority of players.

Also after 1 week of raid release, most groups needs curve or other req. Even if you get in one, either full of boosted trolls or people who leave after x boss or tries for whatever reason. These are really demotivating for me.

in that case they should also buff the crap out of raids just so the shoe fits there as well since anything outside mythic raiding is also a pure logistics check and also a joke difficulty wise

What the hell does too much mean?>
Its a game, and not every player does a m+15 and u need a multitude of timed +15 to get the most out of it aka achiev>mount.

He just said the system won’t be used, it doesn’t mean there won’t be a new system with the same end…

  1. Buy Dinars in the cash shop! ( I hope not, but it’s not impossible)
  2. Earn Dinars as exalted Rep!
  3. Maybe they drop from rares / bosses!
    etc etc

It’s a “joke” because you’re doing 20s. For people that are just about capable of doing +15s, it’s pretty hard for them.

What’s disastrous about it? If you’re not doing activities in game at that high a difficulty, why do you need the very best gear? +15 dungeons provide more than enough power to blast through some pretty high content as it is, and you can do that with almost no effort.
Do you have any evidence that the ‘majority’ of the playerbase disapprove of this? I only see the occasional jealous and depressed forum dweller having a whinge about it.

I cant take that reply serious, its just dumb and salty.

Tying BiS items to end game achievements and kills always works the best if the high end content isn’t too hard.

Compared to 10 years ago mythic raiding is just brutally hard, more casual players already know they have no chance of progression so raiding this expansion has hit an all time low.

I mean come on, most people struggled to just finish HC raids last season, that crap is demoralising.

Just because some of the devs think so doesn’t mean it is true for the playerbase. Raiding in m+ are experiences different enough from each other that they should have a separate system of progression. One should not be required to play the other.
