Shaw being a blank book is making him perfect for it. Afaik it was implied he had an interest in valeera sanguinar but well they are both intelligence agents for their respective factions. Not precisely one you want to mingle with if youre dead loyal and your factions not being on exactly best buddie terms.
He always acted flamboyant.
Needless to say Shaw deserves some character development in any form of way in the very least. Not necessarily sexuality wise but whatever, it doesnt matter.
And for Flynn i sincerely doubt he will stop his behavior even remotely ingame.

Where would I start, my Grandad who legit had a film made about him during WWII My other Grandad who claimed to have been trodden on by a camel during WWII, then revised it to having Rommel (In person) been in a tank that ran over his foot (He legit had crushed toes) or the true story where he got crushed toes whilst looting a French pub after D-Day? My Uncle Geordie who looked like Uncle Fester and only every communicated by breaking wind, whistling, clicks and tapping his nose and giving us money with the injunction to not tell our mothers (Really not as sinister as it could sound!) A Ghost Auntie that never actually existed (Can you be a ghost if you were never actually a person?) Wasps and why you should never go for an al fresco widdle, Badger assassins and the dangerous art of Helicoptering? Tragic old men with Wigs in a Toilet, Finger Nuns, (Again, not as rude as it sounds) Being chased through a forest by armed men with guns and dogs, nearly being arrested by a Prime Ministerial security detail, helping a British Comedian chat up a Hollywood star? In fact you know what… yeah, sign me up, I’ll be next Horde Warchief.

tbh, if no one is ready for these types of scenes then WoW isn´t for you anymore. in time more games will contain same-sex romance.

It´s basic psychology really. plant the seeds into the minds and what was bad yesterday will be good today, and what was good today will be bad tomorrow.
It’s not a question of need, it’s a question of is.
They exist, therefore they should exist.
The fact I absolutely hate maggots isn’t a good enough reason for me to not expect to see them in a game- given they exist so it’s perfectly plausible they may be present in game.
Same-sex relationships exist in real life, so it’s not really that much of a stretch to expect to see them in a game, is it? “But it’s a game, not real life” yet we just going to sweep over all the ways the wow universe resembles the real world and uses the real world as a model for stuff in it, but when it comes to LGBT stuff it’s “too much, it doesn’t need to be that real”.
Colour me surprised.

there is a strong precedent that relationships, similar to those we experience in real life, exist in wow
THEREFORE there is no good reason why same-sex relationships shouldn’t exist, given real-life models of all the others do. Cleary real-life human behaviour is being used to model the other relationships in wow, which means to pick and choose which aspects of human behaviour you’re using for imitation, is to actually undermine your use of it as a model in the first place. Potential human social behaviours includes homosexual relationships, therefore they should be expressed as possible in wow for the same reason romantic relationships in wow follow the same conventions as those we experience in real life. To do otherwise is disingenuous.
Now onto your absurd example.
Firstly, coca-cola is a literal product with royalties etc in place over use of it, specific to earth. The social phenomena of a relationship amongst creatures based upon human-like individuals cannot be compared to the literal existence of a very specific product.
A paraody of it, sure. Like the relationships, it doesn’t need to be a direct transplant, but an interpretation of the same thing. So it’s depicted that Tyrande and Malfurion have a relationship which echoes that of say individuals like Brad and Janet, rather than throwing Brad and Janet in game.
So yeah, references to such are great, not literal inserts.
Oh wait, Kaja cola exists in game. That IS a reference to cola.

The example was fine, it’s all in your evaluation method.
You say that Coca-Cola ads already exist in the game and don’t have to be added explicitly, because Kaja cola is already there and is close enough.
You then argue that relationships have to be extended to include gay relationships because non-gay relationships aren’t close enough.
You are applying an arbitrary criteria of whether things are “close enough” to each other, that’s the sole reason you are getting two different answers for these two cases.
An argument that relies on an arbitrary criteria is bogus. QED.
