I have a macro like:
/stopcasting
/cast Burning Rush
Whereas “/stopcasting” always interrupts the current cast, “/cast Burning Rush” will only work if I press the macro button after the GCD of the previous spell. If the GCD is still ticking, then I have interrupted the previous spell but did not fire off Burning Rush.
I think the “interrupt cast” / “kick” abilities of all (?) classes will fire off the “kick” spell regardless of what you are casting at the time and the GCD.
Can we make it so other spells also behave like an interrupt spell ?
You do realize that having other spells work like that we have to press the key exactly when the cast will over or it will interrupt the previous spell…
That is a horrible idea for the caster classes i play…
When and if i want to stop cast, i press left+right mouse buttons cancel the cast and move to my next…
When you activate an ability, you pay the GCD price regardless if you finish the cast or not.
It has a reason that it works like this because otherwise people would bind 5 abilities in one key and be kings using one button.
No, I meant after a successful “/stopcasting” (ie the previous spell was indeed interrupted), then accept the following /cast as successful regardless of the GCD.
Yeah understood that, but for this to happen you need to have the ability off GCD.
When you cast an ability, you first “pay up” your GCD and when this time is over then you can proceed to the next ability regardless if the cast is over or you cancel it.
There is spelque as well but i dont think that is relevant for you and what you exactly need.
