GCD / error sound remover

Is there an up-to-date working version of this anywhere? The most recent I could find is "Error Sounds Be Gone!" on Curse but it's nearly a year old and didn't work for me when I tried it :(
What? You can just turn off error sounds in-game manually, at System>Sound.
/run SetCVar("Sound_EnableErrorSpeech",0)
Not the speech part, the horrid sounds from pressing a spell that is on CD etc.
Navigate to this directory, creating folders as necessary:World of Warcraft\Data\itIT\Sound\Spells\FizzleCreate five zero bite .wav files, named as follows:FizzleFireA.wav
FizzleFrostA.wav
FizzleShadowA.wav
FizzleHolyA.wav
FizzleNatureA.wav
This will remove the 'fizzle' sounds associated with each element of attack when a spell fails to cast.
I'm not sure what element

If you want instead to remove the 'tick' registering noise that occurs, create this zero byte file:Sound\Interface\uEscapeScreenOpen.wav

There may be alternate fizzles for warriors, I'm unsure.
If none of the above fizzles work then one of these should:uChatScrollButton.wav
iUiInterfaceButtonA.wav
uEscapeScreenClose.wav
Note that muting any of these latter ones will affect other parts of your UI.
Thanks for the advice Chris that's what I was after :)

I tried doing this as you suggest but I still get the "whoosh" sound for example if I try to spam ice barrier on CD or cast frostbolt while it's already channelling. Also the whoosh or "crash" sound when trying to use a spell whilst mounted.

It may or may not have fixed the click sound from spamming the action bar button itself - late here and can't turn it up loud enough to be 100% sure for fear of waking the housemates!

EDIT - do I maybe need .ogg files as well or something? Recall seeing something about that in the (old) comments on the mod I was trying without success that did basically the same thing..
Found this addon that does the above for you, it claims to remove the 'whoosh':http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/project-8021
It seems uChatScrollButton.wav is also a Fizzle.
Replace your current Sound file with the one downloaded above and it should hopefully work.
Regards,
Thanks again Chris - finally got it working :D
Ok, to get ESBG to work follow step by step instructions after downloading ESBG

1/ Close World of Warcraft !!
2/ Unpack the main ESBG file into the Main World of Warcraft folder using Win Rar or Win-Zip
3/ You should not see a Sound file in Main, Blizzard removed it
4/ You will then see the ESBG file
5/ Double click on the ESBG file
6/ In there you will see a file called SOUND, right click and make a copy of this
7/ Arrow back to the main World of Warcraft file
8/ Then PASTE the Sound file in there
9/ Restart WoW and that should sort your problem out, No Fizzle

I hope this sorts it out for you all

It's not really a necro if it contains valuable information, I found this thread via Google myself.

I was looking for that information here and now. So please just go away with your pointless posts. Why do you spam in this thread?
