Gcd on weapon swap

Yeah so he was right then. If you swap right when your GCD starts you reset a GCD that is barely starting, so you have a weapon swap GCD that is the spell GCD you would have had.

You do reduce the GCD incurred by weapon to zero by fusing it to a GCD that is already there.

Well… technically and I totally understand why he thinks that, but it works otherwise and the delay before the second gcd is a bit longer, this is why it feels clunky and old.
Anyway they did something to it as yesterday my old macros were working on the PTR perfectly and today whenever I swap weapons I keep getting the “that bag is full” error even with an empty inventory and sometimes changing to 1h+shield takes 2 full gcds which is weird.

I’m sad how many ppl didn’t understand my clear point and instead answered me that it triggers GCD. Something I knew and didn’t talk about.

And yes, you and Hollowinside got my point.

No you didn’t, you answered this:

And lastly…

Macros exist, right?

I’m really tired of arguing with noobs.

Hope this helps.

0:10 in your video there’s the delay I’ve been talking about and what Hollowinside also mentioned in his edited answer.

With melee it’s much easier to notice.
Edit:

rude.

Theres a big bug on ptr right now. Made a thread. On beta its super fine and on ptr super scuffed.

I also wanted to report this, but crashed twice in a row and I gave up.

I think they did it intentionally. DKs, when switching weapons, get a debuff that disables their class enchant on the weapon for 30 seconds.

I think it would be fine if they made it so you can swap only every 30 seconds for FDK playstyle.
But it’s stupid if you cannot swap because everytime you swap you’re less strong for 30 seconds.
