GCD sounds *fizzle* back in 8.1?

Hey,

Every time you cancel a spell in WoW or try and cast a spell when you are already casting a spell, you get a very obnoxious and annoying woosh sound.

I have always used the ‘Error sounds be gone’ addon to remove the sounds, using empty fizzle files, which was placed into a Sound file in the WoW directory.

Since today (8.1), this no longer works, and thus when trying to level this arcane mage I have to turn sounds off as I have an annoying sound every second as I spam Arcane Blast.

Did WoW change the file structure again in 8.1?

Ok it seems I solved the issue.

Simply copy your old "Sound’’ directory into the new - damned - “retail” directory.
