I work part-time now (60%) and I have 4 days of weekend, even then it doesn’t feel long enough once you get used to it! 
I wll add 20% more from January though, because I move alone so I will need extra money, I guess 3 day weekend all year long is still nice enough and the extra funds are nice too.

problem is if you get used to the 4 days off…
if you ever go back to just 2 days it will be a killer…
however 12 hours days to 8 hour days will feel so quick xD
there is days in my current job where i work up to 7 hours straight without a break… lol

Yeah, that’s true, but I mean… you get more money and that’s a nice incentive to work a day more I guess (I could never return to 100%, so until I can, I will do part-time).

i actually debated getting a second job part time… for a while… i may still do it one day…
i dont do much on my time off anyway besides workout so and the extra money would be great.
just need to find one with flexible days as my days off change each week lol.
EDIT: even if its 4 hours a day stacking shelves in a supermarket… that still an extra few hundred quid a week in the pocket.
would prefer a cash in hand job though for a private company…

Nope, it means it’s Friday a bit sooner.
Only it lasts 48 hours up from 24 and there’s no Thursday.

i’d be happy just to make enough to live comfortably personally…
if i won the lottery for example… i think i would still go to work at my 12 hour job…
also why i have no plans to retire… i plan to work until i literally drop dead.
I can’t think of anything worse thatln working if I didn’t need to.
Also I fully intend to live forever.

also got to work this weekend…
not feeling the hype this week…
3 more shifts until 12 days off though so … something to keep me motivated.
mind you i had 26 days off only 2 shifts ago lol…
just cant get enough time off atm…

I remember working retail, contracted to 8 hours over saturday and Sunday but somehow working 8 hours a day 6 days a week with the odd 11 hr or 14 hr shift thrown in to mix things up a bit 
never again!
