I don’t care how you feel like princess. You are just a bad, dumb, insecure little dog that cares how other people play and doesn’t mind his own business. Also, why is it always morons like you that assume that everyone who goes to gdkp automatically buys gold? Oh wait. Cause you are a moron and bad at the game
Better Jin’do than pay for items I’m raiding and putting my effort on.
Not gonna spend all my time farming gold in wow for it.
No, I don’t want someone to pay me for his loot neither.
Then don’t? Are you completely dumb? Play however you like, and let people that want to pay for their gear pay for it. Why do you care? You guys have severe issues.
Truth
Because GDKPS incentives goldbuying - goldbuying is against ToS - most ppl that join/run GDKPS buys gold. Simple as that. And GDKPs are a toxic cesspool community that don’t belong here. ‘‘Not all of them are toxic’’ Yeah, sure, they are all the same. Now go back to Gehennas and thrive in your pool of gold that you ‘‘earned’’ oh so legally.
“Hallo me watched a Utube video and now me big expert!”
That’s what you sound like.
No offense but you sound a bit naive in that regard. Let’s get the simple fact straight. Gold buying exists and thrives in WoW both retail and classic. If it wasn’t I wouldn’t be able to find gold selling site in couple clicks and YouTube wouldn’t insist on showing me the same advertisement of gold selling services over and over.
And since gold buying exists GDKP will never fully be free of being associated with it. Because willingly or not it will inevitably introduce bought gold back into economy. It’s hard to believe some of the more noticable purchases were done purely with player made gold.
Just because something exists doesn’t mean that everything related to the existence of said thing must thereby exist through its will. Gold selling exists, it has since the game’s creation; long before GDKP was a popular looting method.
I’ve ran the odd GDKP myself, the highest prices I’ve seen were somebody pay 68k for a Corrupted Ashbringer and 55k for Turning Tide. Everything else was below 20k.
Those numbers sound absurd, correct? Meanwhile, during TBC I had 40k gold before ever setting foot in a GDKP and without having ever visitted a gold trading website, and I wasn’t even the richest person in my dad-gamer guild, I was 5th or so. Hoarding gold isn’t a rarity any more.
My fortune was dropped significantly when I offered guildies 1.5k each to help me get a Corrupted Ashbringer. It worked, got my sword approximately 3 weeks before WoTLK pre-patch. Definitely worth the 30k investment.
If; between now and the time of my purchase, I had spent my time farming gold as I did to build the initial 40k, I’d be half way to gold cap by now. Farming gold is boring, but it isn’t difficult and it really doesn’t take long. Whilst you might not believe that farming over 10k is possibly, or even relatively easy for that matter; I’ve no such disbelief.
Another below room temperature IQ individual. And how someone else buying gold affects you? It breaks the ToS? Yeah so? It’s not players job to enforce ToS, it’s blizzards and last I just checked they couldn’t care less about it. You can find toxic people in every aspect of the game not just GDKPs. What a stupid muppet you are
idk how does money laundring affect your irl?
Except this is not real life and it’s a game. I guess you are stupid enough to not tell the difference. Now, what does money laundering have to do with buying gold in a 15 year old game, only someone your kind would see any type of correlation
The ppl reporting GDKP cause it might be RWT are also reporting everybody riding the repair mammoth or chopper right? Or anybody with 280%+ flying speed, or dual spec, or 1 too many Boe’s equipped.
Spend more time playing the game, less time pointing fingers and complaining, and you too can be succesful in this mmo. And once that happens, you’ll quickly realize that GDKP’s and whatever doesn’t involve affect or bother you in any way.
You know none of that would happen if Blizzard actually did their damn job trying to combat RMT and Botting.
Also I’ll be Happy to take some tips on how to be successful because so far despite trying I fail heavily. Ores barely make up for time spent farming them due to existence of people/machines that can somehow procure dozens of stacks in the same time (not to mention stealing nodes from under my nose when I fight the mob that was guarding it). Herbalism is dead, enchantments sell slowly and for the most part barely cost more than materials thrown at them.
There is no trick or secret.
If you do dailies and only dailies, you make at least 300g per day, more depending on which and how many dailies.
Or do a heroic world tour, maybe with the same setup, split all abyss crystals, blues, greens, frozen orbs. It all adds up, if you continuously play the game and don’t afk in dala or spend the majority of your time in BG’s.
Fully completing high lvl zones at lvl 80 awards a lot of gold.
Fishing pygmy suckerfish is viable, you say herbalism is dead but I remember I have farmed adder’s tongue and lichblooms before and fish my own pygmys and make my own pots.
Ores I can’t speak for because I never go for mining.
Don’t expect 500g per hour, don’t get disappointed. Play, don’t make any unnecessary expenses, and it will add up eventually. And everything counts, if you loot a couple of crystallized whatevers and wanna get rid of them because inventory space or OCD, send them to your banker, everything stackable and worth something.
Try to be self sufficient & find a guild to help eachother with profession specific stuff instead of paying strangers, I’m not a money making god, but I have close to 0 expenses besides repair cost. Don’t be afraid to ask your gbank for enchanting mats, you clear the raids (if you raid) with them, you’re entitled to a piece of the disenchanting mats.
I raid log for the majority now, (WG log actually), and I still see my money going up slowly.
edit: so with the bank I built up by playing and being smart with my gold, I can join any GDKP and drop a big sum of gold if I really wanted a specific item & half the raid would think I bought the gold. This shouldn’t be going away, Blizzard just has to ban bots/gold buyers and sellers, cheaters, rule breakers, aka do their job. It’s asking a lot ofcourse lmao.
World Tours don’t happen at this phase in Nethergarde. Hell I’m lucky if I get 4-5 Heroics and each group disbands after a run. Guild I am in is small with people mostly catching up with their own BiS so mostly doing raids. From entire last week I got maybe 3 Frozen Orbs (2 i sent a friend as materials for a ring) 5 Abyss crystals and handful of blues and greens that supplied my own training. Runs where I get fat nothing ain’t uncommon.
Adder’s tongue goes for little more than 3g per stack on NK at the moment. Lichbloom looks more promising though with 30k on market it looks bleak. Not that I have herbalism, had it on alt but swapped it for Engineering.
With 2-4 hours to play on medium server that outside peaks dives way below 1000 players (around midnight it’s less than 500 and every other week that’s the only time I can play) it’s going to be hard… And I still need to buy enchants for my gear…
I’m not up to date with any price of any mats now tbh and my experiences mostly come from a megaserver, it’s just what I did for the most part. If all else fails you still got dailies I guess. While it might feel like a chore, or a job, you do get paid, and it might not get you into gear-buying-levels of gold but it should be able to cover your enchants and raid consumables.
‘‘Me cant play the game, me no want to get carried and get gear, then I can finally parse 70+’’
You sure are naive and part of the problem.
The economy of the game sucks, P2W is never good in games. You should stop writing in this forum and go play some mobile games, seems that mobile games and their microtransactions is around the IQ and brainpower your silly little brain can muster.
Now, stop playing intellectual, cool and smart and go back to your basement and get a real job.
Zabra be one of da Thekal Chads banning GDKP beta males ahahah!
