Gear and level 60 endgame

With the new Gnomeregan loot being datamined it’s clear a lot of stuff is on par with lvl 60 pre-raid bis gear, and it’s only the level 40 bracket. We’ll have one at 50 with more powerful items that will be even better than the gnomeregan loot.

Just a few examples from a priest healer’s perspective:
[spoiler alert for gnomer loot]

Classic pre bis 1h healing mace: The Hammer of Grace
NO stats
+31 healing done

Gnomer 1h healing mace:
+4 int, +3 spirit
+20 healing.

Classic healing offhand: Tome of Divine Light
+4 stam
+5 int
+26 healing
+4 mp5

Gnomer healing offhand:
+6 stam
+6 int
+22 healing

Epic gnomer healing staff: (prolly low drop but still)
+11 stam
+14 int
+15 spirit
+35 healing

At this rate the level 60 dungeons will be 100% obsolete. Sunken Temple will not be run for the class trinkets because the level 50 raid will already provide better trinkets.
Strat/Scholo will only be run to level up.

Will we be going straight into MC when we ding 60? I’ll go even further, will the lvl 50 10-man provide better epics than MC does? What then?

Only way I see this working is that MC gear is scaled up or we’re getting new raids that can be run right away when we ding 60.
Anyway sorry for my rant.

People on era do around 1000 dps on naxx logs.

We are currently reaching 200 already at level 25.

It’s safe to assume Naxx will be ROFLSTOMPED, If the health and loot from the raid is not buffed by a large margin

Yeah indeed. IIRC they said they were going to use SOM 40-man raid tuning but don’t quote me on that.

Man if they release kara in SoD I’d be extremely happy, or do I read your sentence wrong?

Edit: yeah maybe I interpret it wrong and you don’t mean kara will be in SoD but that lvl 60 dungs are going to be mostly obsolete?

thats what i meant. based on the SoD reveal presentation where they had a slide with BfD, Gnomer and Karazhan on it. I also seem to remember from somewhere else that Sunken Temple would be the lvl50 raid

I thought the level 50 picture was a hallway in SM? I could be wrong. I much prefer a SM raid than ST.

I think it’s a given kara crypts will be included, but maybe at 60. actual kara like in TBC would be insane to me.

could be but SM is lvl40 content and we already know that Gnomer will be the raid for this bracket. yes , on the Kara point. Still i don’t see a way how Scholo/strat/LBRS/UBRS would stay relevant
