SO!! We get season 1 gear in season 2 delves that we can’t even upgrade?

Ok, so what is the new content with Undermine and all of the new delves then?

Ok, so gears is apart from that then?
Yeah, Season 2 starts next Wednesday after the reset, and that’s when the itemlevels of world quests, Delves, and stuff go up, it’s all a bit confusing, but i guess it’s to give players time to play through the Undermine story before entering the raid.
For now, yes. Mythic+ is not open yet either. It will be introduced on the 4th (for the US, 5th for us).

Yep that’s the reason.
We get a whole week of doing the new zone and exploring before the treadmill starts again and I think that’s quite nice
