Gear not in inventory, bank and in restore items pls help?

Hi i had 2 rings and they are both gone for whatever reason.

i had 2 rings and both are gone!

  • Unstable Arcane Loop with socket at around 395
  • Thunderous Downburst Ring at lvl 415

Is this a bug? Can someone help me or has the same problem. Only the 2 rings are missing it looks like. I mean if i cant even restore the items where are they now?

Did you purchase an otter mount from a vendor? There is one Ottuk mount which is sold by a vendor in exchange for three rings, including those two.

wtf yes i did. how can i revert that. maybe via ticket? or is there a system

If you haven’t learned the mount and the item still has the buyback timer you can sell it back to the vendor. If you have learned the mount you are probably out of luck but you can always try making ticket but I wouldn’t have high hopes for that.

Ok i created a ticket now and i hope they can give me the rings back. Would be greate to implement something whre you need to choose the rings and not just random remove them from the inventory.

I don’t think they will return the rings, Blizzard have never returned this kind of thing for a long time.

they have this on the support website. They know this mount is a problem because sometimes it just takes the best rings like my 415 ring. i had a lower one in the bag

I purchased the wrong Ottuk from Tattukiaka, after refunding I received 350 iLvL rings not the ones I used to purchase it with.
I had two Eye of the Vengeful Hurricane and when buying a Trader's Ottuk, the mount vendor incorrectly took the ring with the higher item level

thre are some other bugs listed and one of them is that mount. a link doesnt work looks like they know what my problem was and showed this for me at “point 3 try following”

Customer Support does not refund items. If your refund timer expired you can keep, sell, or destroy the item.

Tbh that is really bad system taking my best rings instead some low rings a had :man_shrugging:
Basically if you haven’t learned or used anything there is a 2h return timer and you can return it. Because i learned the mount already it doesn’t look like they do anything and even if you cant return it when the timer runs out i doubt that they will refund the rings.

Well what can i say. stupid system to trick the players buying stuff. next time i will read it more carefully or as someone suggested in the wowhead comments. sell the best rings first then buy it with lower item ring then buy rings back.
