We need some system which will count gear quality.
Please, Blizzard, make some more changes and implement ILvL or GS system into WoW WotLK.

If You are playing without a guild, You will know which guy You are inviting to Your party.

people meet up for gearchecks has been since vanilla and dont see any issue with that

I feel like still in wrath; Just like Vanilla and TBC what a good player and good gear looks like is pretty easy to know from a glance and systems like ilvl and gearscore are useless.
All BIS items have been figured out and what is second and third bis are known.
Who says the person in full pre bis / full bis has skill? People forget gold buys anything in game such as gear and achievements.

Btw, if you want a big stuffed guy in your group, you will inspect before if there is no GS like.

I never had a problem with GS in 12 years of wotlk, oh yes once with my reroll, but the story is too complex for you, you won’t be able to understand.
GS/Ilvl is pretty terrible system. Inspect and WCL are more than enough to filter PUGs/guild candidates.

You inspect a player? how about doing what one does in a MMO , instead of wanting everything to be automated.
There was an ilvl stat on items in og wrath. Somehow there is nothing like that in “Classic”
How dose that follow from my comment? What GS brings is that even more people dont invite people because of gear. We saw it in original wrath and if it becomes standard again we will see it again.
You must know who u are inviting before u invite them. Or this is just waste of time.

Yep. You can’t even turn on it in settinga. You need to install addon to see level of item. But you still can’t compare them, lol.
