Gearing Feral Druid

Hello.
My new guild doesn’t need a tank so I need to switch to dps (I don’t want to play ranged). Where can I find any info about where to farm the best gear? Checked icy-veins and wowhead, but the guides show either best traits or best gear from a specific place only.

I have no idea what to look for. Came here because I wasted my pearls on upgrading baentic azerite armor while not knowing they are a terrible choice.

Kinda answered your own question there.
But to figure out which Traits/gear/trinkets are best for you, you could sim potential gear pieces, or look up what other people are using and go for that.
Like lookup feral druids on logs or rio.

BIS gear lists haven’t really been a thing since MOP due to Titanforging and while simming yourself is the best thing we have, doing so when every piece of interesting gear that drops is too much hassle.

The best gear will depend on the content you’re planning to do. Since the traits on Benthic gear only works in Nazjatar/Eternal Palace, it’s nowhere near as good in m+ or pvp compared to any high ilevel piece with good stats.

When I started the raid tier, I aimed for:

• Head - Za’qul,
• Shoulders - m+ vendor (Gorak Tul’s Mantle for Blightborne Infusion)
• Chest - Queen’s Court (For Undulating Tides)
• Trinkets - Dribbling Inkpod from Orgozoa, Ashvane’s Razor Coral from Lady Ashvane
• 2h Weapon - Shiver Venom Lance from Abyssal Commander Sivara
• Feet - 3% crit boots from Benthic vendor (with socket)
• Waist - AoE threat belt from Benthic vendor (with socket)
• Hands - Peon’s Deepsea Grips from Benthic vendor (with socket)
• Wrist - Either of the DPS traits from Benthic vendor (with socket)

The rest honestly doesn’t matter (just aim for high ilevel and avoid too much mastery). Aim to get backup pieces to replace your Benthic gear in m+, pvp and for the beginning of the next raid tier. Consider getting a good AoE trinket as well (Phial of the Arcane Tempest drops from Radiance of Azshara and sims well).

If you want to tryhard then check out raidbots (sim yourself), bloodmallet (to look at trinket/azerite sims) and warcraftlogs (to see what other Feral’s are using on each boss).
