Just to check, can I skip all PvE and not be lower geared than others in PvP this xpac?
yup, pvp gear is sold for honor and conquest, their ilvl is increased in pvp, though their ilvl in pve tends to be lower than the normal raid tier. But for all intents and purposes of pvp, you can be at the top ilvl as a pvper, by purely doing pvp content.
Just be sure to do your weekly quests (pvp) once season starts!

Beware though. I dont think you can earn conquest points yet so maybe leave those quests until you can? For example the conquest quest in WG now only gives gold…
Ye keep them because they are not repeatable.
