I did.
I just bought the green gear on AH and then spammed comp stomp and then I went arena when I had full set of honor gear from spamming comp stomp.

Save up those honor medals and send to a new alt, it’s a shame you can’t just buy them outright, even at a loss or something

Crafted greens? → honor farm BGs → try get Shadowflame splinters etc for 1crafted piece (probably infurious boots)
Then just gear conquest through quest rewards and any activities
