I’m sorry but who in the nine hells has the time or patience to play this game 6h a day every single day, clear every single type of content to barely get a piece of gear or the currencies to level them

Jesus people, there’s already enough challenge and difficulty in the content mechanics themselves, how is it fun to be stuck on this treadmill for weeks on end, possibly months if you’re a normal human being with normal playtime

Casual players won’t clear all the content even geared to the teeth, let people try to attempt and experience it at least

I dont understand why some people use “casual player” as an excuse to demand rewards without putting in effort. There is nothing wrong with being a casual player, but rewards reflect effort and commitment, its only fair. You wouldnt expect to get full time salary for a part time job, would you?

You’ve done no Mythic Dungeons. None of the Raid, & less than 10 Delves.
Where exactly are you expecting to get your gear from?

I have done maybe 6 keys, a few mythic 0s, a normal raid, and a bit of heroic, I am 605 ilevel (On my paladin), despite getting no loot from the raid.

Gearing is not as generous as the bullions in s4, but it’s pretty close.

You don’t have to gear up. I’m iLvl 555 (for more than a week) and I’m fine.

If you dont do any end content you simply dont need the gear for it. You get out what you put in. Personally, i am only bothering with delves atm, so its a bit slow to upgrade my gear, but at 596ilvl its more than enough to complete the content that I am doing.

the OP is right - the amount of time one has to sink in gearing is ridiculous…

I don’t understand how you can claim such a thing?
You really don’t have to do that. In fact, you can spend like 2-3 hours per week and still get a decent selection of gear.

It sounds like MMORPGs might not be for you, if I’m being honest.

This is an MMORPG, you are not supposed to gear quick.
If anything, the problem is the community, not the system. People expect gear (or stats) that’s not even required to clear certain content.

To be honest, the itemlevel of gear dropped in normal dungeons at 80 just need to be buffed from 554 to 567, as 567 is the requirement for heroic dungeons.

Why is it anyone’s business how much time and effort someone else wants to put into this game.

Just do your thing, play at your level and have fun doing it.

Don’t be jealous if someone gets to pick better fruits than you when they spend more effort into it.

If you want the best you need to work for it, like the old days when you needed a brain and teamwork and not the ARPG wow have turned in to with the possibility too get the best gear thru brainless daily activities and vault.

The best gear should be in raids, when Tier gear was something to be proud off, something other players was jealous of and inspired others too work harder! The best gear made you an absolute apex beast and gear was good enough until max lvl in new expansion…

Now you need a calculator and a spreadsheet to be 0.5% better than someone else and replace with greens in new expansions, there is no reward what so ever too hunt the best gear.

At level 70 you can oneshot the entirety of ICC and technically Invincible could drop on your very first run, so yes you could

You get the gear as you play the content, if you don’t play, why do you need the gear? Is it boring to play the game?
