General enquiry about MW

Hi guys,

I’m kinda eyeballing the class to reroll and be a healer - wanted to be a tank, but pugs have healer issues more than ever, and I don’t really want to dps (I’m not really good at it). My question is: how deep is the learning curve for Mistweavers? Last time I healed was back in WotLK as a resto Druid, so mobility wouldn’t be an issue (main reason I loved that class), however I heard that they are extremely squishy, but I don’t really aim for PvP, only PvE.

Would MW and WW be essentially a good combination for low key mythics (up to 15+) and legacy content farming? Or it would be an overwhelming experience with 100 buttons?

Also if anyone know a YT creator who mains the class, that would be highly appreciated.

Cheers!

Healers in general have on average more buttons to press but if that’s alright with you then MW monk is very easy to pick up and play. There is no gimmick such as holy power and your CDs are usually just “oh crap” buttons to press when you need more heals. Minimal utility but very strong in dungeons.
After the new talents we can now get 3 defensive cds so I don’t really see us as squishy in PvE. Quite the opposite now.

MW has a very bad reputation, but it actually is very strong in M+ content

Simple healing rotation, alot of butons. MW has no battleressurection, Bloodlust or Groupbuff, so you need specific partner for high keys.
