So at the start of the new questline stuff Lorthemar Theron says something like “General Nazgrim has reported that Bolvar Fordragon is free from Lich King thing” -
now, i thought - a - he was killed in a previous raid - and b - he was resurrected as a minion by death knights - can he speak now? is he alive or dead? or both? is he capable of independent action and words? anyway, glad to see the old bugger still around!
Nazgrim is one of the “4 horsemen” and he’s very much functional. He’s one of the people carrying Bolvar into Acherus.

He was then resurrected into the 4 horsemen.
Along with Sally Whitemane (Scarlet Monastery)
Thoras Trollbane
Dorian Mograine.
But only if you played the DK campaign in Legion would you have seen this.
Hes “alive” and not just a minion, he is one of the 4 horseman. On the side on Whitemane, Mograine, Trollbane. And as I understood he is resurrected or reanimated and the DKs aren’t controlled by the Lich King anymore.
I’m worried about him and the other horsemen. They were raised when Bolvar was struggling with the entity inside the helm of domination. Perhaps they’re now the Jailer’s sleeper agents.
Or perhaps they’re themselves now, since the helm is no longer functional. The current story confuses me.
Lorthemar respects nazgrim so much that he still calls him general even though he is a deathknight now
I still think we should have been able to make Tirion into a DK instead of Darion
The Death Knight class campaign is worth doing, just for the story. It’s probably the best class campaign story followed by Shaman.
I find quite a few of them to be very good, but DK is definitely one of the best ones imo.

As has been mentioned, he’s a Death Knight.
He’s resurrected as part of the Death Knight Class Hall campaign in Legion.
I like that he was resurrected as the character was thrown away.
But at least he wasn’t killed off-screen and tossed in the trash like Admiral Taylor.
