In HoS and HoL gamma how tf are you supposed to deal with the tentacles? My sanity drops super quick and I just end up looking away not doing anything cause I don’t want to get mc’d and kill someone and then I get sh*t on cause my dps sucks cause I’m on like 11 sanity. I watched other people do these dungeons and their sanity drops so much slower and I have no idea what I’m doing wrong anymore ):
This is the only affix I’m having trouble with and every time I get queued into either of those dungeons the leave button is looking more desirable to press. Please help ):
Everyone needs to swap to the tentacle quickly unless everyone is really well geared
If you start the tentacle on it’s own (without ulduar buffs), you are often unlikely to beat the sanity timer.
The strategy is to engage the tentacle with full ulduar stacks, or as it is at the entrance, pull extra mobs and have them present while you focus the tentacle.
Extra mobs being present stacks ulduar buff faster.
Classes that attack faster lose sanity faster. If you get low stop attacking and the sanity will go up again eventually.
