Sooooo, since they are now selling beta access with the most expensive version of the game’s pre-purchase, save for Collector’s Edition, has anyone who did not get the “Epic” edition received a beta invite?
I know of people on beta currently who haven’t purchased the CE of the expansion and got beta access the same day I did

This isn’t an open beta but a closed beta invites only, with paid or opt-in to the beta access. For example Blizz & Family, Press & Influencers and some others also get approached for beta access.
There are plenty of players who have opted in and received beta access who did not pay or are currently subbed to WoW.

Right, “open beta” wasn’t the right wording to use, but alright, I’ll take your word for it.
I got a beta invite before I got the epic edition.
I have no bought even the base version and I dont have beta access.
To add some more context I always had beta acess since WoD (I won a beta give-away at the time).
But generally i get invited later one and not at the start.
I didn’t buy the best version and I was given Alpha, which runs into beta.
