OK couple of things with that reply. Yes, in a way I was for daring to suggest that if a man buys some stock in a video game PUBLISHING (remember that it’s important to the context) company it’s a non story. Which it still is.

Several sources were then linked, two of them video game website, which i give even less credence to, as most if not all gaming websites are like youtube in “here’s something I either like or don’t like, and eff you if you disagree” On a side tangent, I give you the glorious example of Fallout 76. If you happen to like said game, then you are the enemy of every video gamer out there, if you were to believe games media. Just mention the name @Todd Howard@ and you’d think he had just burst into the guy’s house, sexually assaulted the cat, fed the dog to the garbage disposal before presumably selling the relatives to sex slave gangs in Albania (randomly picked name, love ya Albania!!) before taking a huge dump in the carpet and smearing it on the walls. Now it seems if you like WoW and BfA you’re just a shill of that ridiculous mish mash of names ‘ActiBlizzard’ or whatever stupid arrangement is fashionable this week.

2nd. At no point. NONE WHATSOEVER did i even begin to politicize Soros involvment in Activision. But I know someone who did.

Is it now considered to be a Social Justice Warrior to be a Progressive? if Soros is a SJW he’s the worst in the world frankly.

Letting fans make decisions has never been a solid business model in entertainment, because they never have the same goal in mind. They all want different things. Take for example the Warcraft movie. While to be brutally honest it was a pretty piss poor movie with some good moments, if the fans were left in charge it would have ended up in the trash can while everyone went off to their favoured social media and loudly told everyone that it was everyone else’s fault because they didn’t do this or that.

To avoid any conflict, i am in NO way shape or form a fan of George Soros. i regard him the same way i regard the idiot who currently resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave in of my adopted homeland, as a very, some would say obscenely, rich man who likes to throw money around the way trees drop leaves in Fall. Only difference is i agree with some things he has said and some politics of George Soros.

George Soros, famous American billionaire who is a favourtite bogey man of the Right in the US especially alt right fake news websites.

And to further complicate things for the easily swayed who will no doubt scream “LEFTY SOCIALIST!!”, I am of the left leaning, vaxxing, likes to checks facts and would vote for Bernie Sanders who also happens to believe in stricter gun controls yet owns 3 of them.

PS: Acitivion-Blizzard is a parent company of Acitivision and Blizzard, as the name might suggest. It is not just a publishing arm, it is a set of highly prolific game developers. Just thought I’d make that clear.

I agree with all of this but it has nothing to do with George Soros buying stocks in Activision.

This is objectively true. If you think it’s fake news to call George Soros the backer of many of the sites that feed the Progressive narrative, then you’re just wrong. It’s not a political question. SJW and Progressive are the same thing, but seen from different sides. I specifically used both terms to appear neutral.

If you think these facts are what makes the fake news site fake news, then you seriously need to step back and ask yourself: “How did I convince myself that something true is fake based on where it comes from?”
