Because this is where I agree with people being outraged about some of the goings on at Blizz.
The message directly being sent is that sexism and racism is tolerable, but only towards a certain demographic. It gets even worse, if you apply logic to it. Of the population of the planet, 12% of them are white, of that 12%, the global average (It varies in different countries) is that 50% will be male presenting and 50% female presenting.
I am the 6%. That makes me a minority (I know this is taking it to extremes, but work with it.) Of the population of the world, I am vastly in a minority (And I haven’t even brought sexual orientation into it)
So What Blizzard are essentially saying here, by championing this woman, and by placing her vanity NPC in game, is that it -is- acceptable to be prejudiced against minorities. I haven’t even brought my disabilities into this, Osteoporosis is well rare in white males, so I’m probably down to 0.5 % Oh and the Epilepsy, So I’m probably less than 0.01%…
So why is it OK, for some woman to judge me, when they have never met me.
When you judge someone based upon your views of their skin colour, and not their personal character, you are a Racist.
When you judge a person based upon your views of their sex, and not their personal character, you are a Sexist.
Blizzard cannot condone this Vanity NPC being left in, without tacitly stating that racism and sexism are actually back on the menu.

What’s amazing is the consistent removal of the words “domination” and “torture”.
Examples:

So, basically, in SL we’re going to have the raid eventually renamed Chains. Because the word domination is simply removed alongside with the parts of the sentences it’s in.
They changed a “torture” into “torment”, which kinda implies that “doing bad to one’s body is evil but doing bad to their mind is ok”.

Yeah, this is the hypicrisy part, but it also makes perfect sense with this woke / intersectional logic. There is the principle that black people can use the N-word but not others, and they’ve taken that concept to the extreme and applied it to “domination”. When the old writers use it, it’s bad, but when the current team uses it, it’s fine because they are intersectional special snowflakes who are oppressed themselves (lol) so they should be the arbiters on who and what can and should be dominated.
Yeah, it’s gonna be some BS without agency where Sylvanas freed his will at the end, and he’ll probably end up dead or undead anyway.
