Get an Early Look at Eight New Hero Talent Trees

Also not forget that both Sylvanas and Uther wished Arthas went to hell.
And not forget Grom HELLSCREAM

I guess they are called grom and garrosh shadowlandscream now

His original voice really did make the name Hellscream appropriate. sigh. Back when orcs were orcs

To be honest, I would prefer hero talents being more of a cosmetic thing. Having them on top of the already existing two talent trees sounds way to complicated to be enjoyable.

Feint as an offensive ability could be fun for outlaw, I guess. With the whole tree resolving around the fazed debuff, feint will probably become a core rotational ability which results in walking around with a permanent damage reduction.

For sub on the other hand, I’d imagine it just as bad as Shiv for assassination.

Tricks of the Trade QoL changes are always welcome - I think the last time pressing TotT was with the t10 2p/the cataclysm glyph.

Killing Spree should be removed entirely, not something being forced upon us. For me, rogue was always about control and during KS you don’t have control at all. It never felt good to use (just like Death from Above).

Looks like they’re cooking up something extra special for shamans and monks, nice.

Thank you, Blizzard! :+1:

And I am sincere with that. Herald of the Sun sounds EXACTLY how Sunbreaker Titans (Hammer of Sol) in Destiny 2 is with certain items. THAT will be my spec and it will make it much more bearable to have quit D2 as my main game.

It sounds very promising so far (reading the mockup).

Hope that’s the case

I don’t think we need more buffing others like crazy spells. You are the COMMANDER you apply bombardment to the kill target causing your DMG and the DMG of your teammates to cause that target to get “bombed?”, you command ppl to kill someone. Do we really want AUG 2.0 with even more buffs for your team?

The Templar Paladin seems cool, with hundreds of hammers falling from the skies hitting everyone and causing procs to proc even more hammers. I hope this looks cool, but also doesn’t cause the whole screen to turn gold.

Wildstalker seems unfun, you have a random chance to get an additional short bleed or short heal, and it increases your DMG, increases healing, deals some AoE. I’d think Wildstalker would be more about going wild, stalking your target, being evasive, slow your enemies, increase your speed, maybe having some more control over this new bleed / heal, maybe have new ways to get away or get to your target, maybe ways to dodge DMG. The DoT really needs to do good DMG and apply pretty often to work.

We need need more buff classes in general to end Aug’s monopoly on the matter, and while you also have a point, a commander is generally expected to coordinate people to increase their efficiency, and so practically buffing them.
Don’t name a spec commander if all it does is just providing some extra AoE damage. The bottom 3 nodes are a joke, feels rushed. If Melt Armor would be a general vulnebrality (+X% damage taken) buff it’d be infinitely better. In it’s current state Arcane Bombardier would be a more fitting name for the spec.

I can’t wait to throw many hammers as a Templar, I imagine it already, a barrage of righteous hammers raining down from the skies.

It better look amazing

is the rogue new hero talent Trickster an early april joke?
feint as a damage button !! for real did they run out idea or what ??
no one in this game like to use his deff abilities for damage, we had this problem with ww touch of karam, but this is another level of madness
and in top of that they have SaD related talent, so in this 2years they didn`t get the feedback from every one that this ability is so annoying to press offers no gameplay
this exp is already over if nothing changes about this stupid ideas support priest/pala
and now a rogue damage by his deff abilities

One thing that’s starting to worry me about TWW and it’s a common theme/statement I keep thinking about and that’s
who asked for this?

More dwarves - out of all the races we should’ve had by now (I think they are cool but we didn’t need nor ask for them). Ogres etc would’ve been better, back to basics.

Hero classes not hero talents or class skins and more visual customisation.

That places all hopes on warbands and delves. Warbands will only apply to TWW things first with older expansions in the future which is a disappointments.

I personally wanted more spell visual customisation with race and thematic customisations, an overhall of racials and a ton of new race and class armour. New customisations for races.

A stat overhall to make character building better.

Starting to regret preordering now :frowning:

In fact it reminds me of garrisons, people wanted player housing but instead we got a watered down and not quite thought out system that was rushed and cut.

As a Monk main, I’m not even mad or surprised that they dodged on us once again while Paladins are fully revealed already and Druids are on 3/4.

Some people are on full hopium about class rework but at this point I just resigned to the thought that they simply don’t know what they are doing and let it go, so by release it will be even worse and bloated than now. I could be right, I could be wrong, whatever.

Who cares about hammers more final verdicts from the sky please

So
let me get this straight: Templar Paladins works around Eye of Tyr
one of the end talents of the tree.
Yeah yeah I know I always use that but it literally removes any free choice
you just need to fill the tree to get it

Man, these hero talents sucks every day more.

And no, I don’t want to choose the one that I have to poop :poop: buffs for the others
 that sucks even more.

Insert Thanos throwing a Moon

Well, if Blizzard loves their lore, we now know the universe version of hell is called the Maw.

So shouldn’t we be pulling servants of the jailer to aid us then :stuck_out_tongue:

But Warlocks get their power from the Twisting Nether, which is not hell :stuck_out_tongue:

I just feel personally that the warlock naming is meh for our hero talents, soul harvester is fine, but the other 2 should have had some effort put behind it.

I wish they’d stop trying to make deep breath work on evokers, it feels awful to use and whenever I use it it always disorients me.

What’s the design goal of these hero talents? How do they make the game more fun?

To me they all sound like they’re just adding a bunch of needless complexity. Most classes and specs are already bloated and would benefit more from crappy abilities and talents getting removed or reworked, rather than just adding more stuff onto the pile.

As a player, I’ll just pick the hero talent that gives the most DPS and then completely forget about the feature, so it’s not an interesting choice.

It seems to me that the WoW team only consists of mobile game designers and marketing people who are good at selling stuff. But nobody’s really interesting in creating elegant designs anymore.

So I wanna get one think out real quick cause otherwise my opinion will be misinterpreted, I think Hero-Talents are cool, every other release outside of druids has been atleast interesting in the sense of new mechanic, and we can’t fully judge them because all we have are the general idea of the abilities and no visuals or numbers.

With all this being said, the “Wildstalker” is so boring oh my lord, it’s not bad, the flat dmg increases is good and it will probably be decent, but really? You looked at feral and went: “give it another passive bleed, oh and the mechanic will be that you do more dmg to the target with it on”. Cool idea, but ummm blizzard
we already have that talent, this isn’t even an active ability that you can weave into your rotation, its a rng dot that makes the target take more dmg and detonates and maybe spreads. There I just sunned up the entire creative process behind “Wildstalker”, for feral atleast, I won’t speak for resto since I don’t play it enough to have an opinion on it.

But like All the other ones are so cool, “Diabolist” looks awesome and fun to play with, “Colossus” is the most unga bunga hit thing very very hard tree and I love it for that, I think they are awesome, and I don’t play pala but they get e new genuine mechanic that they get to play around, but we just get another bleed that increases dmg again, no new playstyle. Like what if we get something with prowl seeing as that was what I thought was gonna me the focus of this, maybe we get to choose a target as our “Prey” and we get advantages against the target or something when it dies or something thematically with “Wildstalker” cause this seems like druid of thorns if anything.

But yeah that’s my feeback, numbers wise it’ll probably be fine, nothing insanely bad that I can really fixate on. I just think thematically it’s a bit boring,
