For those of us that play on quieter servers / through the night / horde etc this is a game changer.
Most of the time when I log on there are a hand full of people in HC/Alpha/Beta, it’s very difficult getting groups at even “peak” hours.
I will happily group with people that need gear to progress, rather than higher than needed GS advertised speed/skip runs (even naked gnomes)
For the pro’s who consider GS to be gospel and closely tied to their self worth, I think they will continue to group with their friends and guilds rather than use this

You can queue naked, and worst the tool required low ilvl to queue, imagine a beta with full 4.2 gs people, what a nightmare…
Besides of counting Ilvl in your bank it is kinda useful. You don’t really need anything below beta any way with ToC and the three new dungeons available.
My greatest fear was that they wouldn’t seperate the defense protocols from “Normal” heroics so groups would get into fights wether to do alpha, beta or whatever even before starting.
But counting items in the bank is stupid. Best example: My upcoming enchanter character has stored tons of epics in it’s bank which are useless for him I just wait until my enchanting skill is high enough to disenchant them. And THAT would count as item lvl for queues? That is really stupid!
But if you believe in the good in people and hope that people only queue if they really are ready AND do their best in the dungeons and not slack around and and expect to be carried… Then the item lvls are fine, but it’s a lot of ifs.
You’ve never met the average RDF user… You’d get more use out of an NPC…
Well I tanked Oculus and Violate Hold as 4,2 fully enchanted BDK tank. But in was not a problem since dps and healer were around 5K. Imagine full 4,2 groups.
Yeah, all is easy when the other players are overgear hahah, and probably you are 4.2 def capped not half random epics/half pvp epics haha

Sadge. Average player is way more experienced than he used to be in 2008-2010. So please its not a big deal, u can always form Ur own group for world tour/daily, which i highly recommend.

It litreally explains it in the video and I litreally said watch it and you will understand why. I couldn’t care less about the “yourtuber” getting more clicks. Just thought I would share some very useful information.
That’s going to be so minor, not even noticable bruh, what ya talking about. 90% of player database is above 5,2k.

Considering a lot of ppl start Beta groups with like 2.4-3.2 GS with leveling gear from like TBC i do not count on it being any different in LFD gammas.
Low geared people will have a terrible time. They will get kicked after first boss is down, in every dungeon.

You can be the most experienced player in the world but you still wont take down Anub HC in ToGC25 with a bunch of level 70’s in White gear from vendors.
