Get rid of the automatic actioning from reports already

This is just getting ridiculous.

That’s pretty damn funny honestly. What’s even funnier is knowing that Blizzard won’t change the default name of that pet making sure this will happen again.

its less funny when you relaise that all this is happening because blizzard fired thousands of CMs/GMs over last 2-3 years to replace them with AI bots and algorythms

what is even less funny is that if you work in IT you realise that almost all companies try to do this nowadays - which leads to horrible customer services - but they dont care.

this is the future - and its looking really horrible.

I have no care for the CMs and GMs that got laid off due to the quality of “help” they’ve given out for the past years.

What is funny is that Blizzards system is suspending people for a name they chose.

Reports have long been taken over by automation, and CS for tickets outsourced to useless script readers who don’t read beyond the ticket’s title then give stupid responses.

That pet issue in quote is hilariously stupid, doubt Blizz would even compensate the player for time lost while suspended.

People in these positions can’t just do or say whatever they’d like to do or say. They’re limited by company policies and strict guidelines.

Comparing to how CS and CM were done in 2005 and how things are done now makes it seem likely that internal policies and rules are very fundamentally different now. CSRs and CMs are not the people who make such changes, so blaming them for increasingly less freedom to help or communicate is probably not fair.

Reminds me of the youtuber and ditto ingame name LazyPeon getting banned for his name (since it could be somehow racist), where his appeal was that he named his char after (quest) NPC’s in the game itself. He got unbanned pretty fast.

Sure, but then they compound it by being overzealous or just bad (I’d imagine it doesn’t attract rocket scientists as applicants). Banning LzayPeon illustrates it perfectly.

In too many cases its like a power hungry kid became the hall monitor and got drunk on the errr ‘power’.

Sure, but they could start by doing their job and actually giving answers to tickets
