WoW’s engine has a very hard time with things that aren’t skin tight.
Blizzard are very worried about clipping, and for good reason, so most clothes are painted onto the model’s texture instead.
We have a solution to that now though - cloth simulation is ready to take on this challenge. But unfortunately WoW’s graphics engine is a bit of a meme, so… not holding my breath.

The big beach strawhat looks pretty cool and summery imo. And those sunglasses are cool touch.

I see that as a man with a passionate vision who had to make some concessions to make it to a game. The same man has now aged 20 or 30 years and has a family. People change a lot with both of those things. He gave up the reins to Blizzard, to WoW and to the next generation. He has now come back to guide them a little with the knowledge and experience that it is not just his game any more.
Sure. I just don’t like this kind of stuff, the frequency of it, the totality of it, or the trend it reveals. And I don’t think it’s for the good of the game, and I think it shows a creative decay within Blizzard, and a catering to the lowest denominator, of whom there appears to be so many of here.

Anyway… I bought a pizza and cheese doodles.
I’m not always excited for the monthly reward, we had some boring weapon packs and a wrist watch for example that didn’t really float my boat at all.
It happens, you win some you lose some but they are essentially freebies.

Trading Post armor items have for many months now been like retextured TBC quest rewards, as colorful as they come.
Transmogs are permanent and change the visual identity of the game as a whole.
