Just for the record: I also love transmogrification.
I just think Blizzard should make us excited about the Warcraft aspect of it.
Pointy hats. Shiny swords. Flowing capes. Large pauldrons with skulls and spikes. Beautiful shields with the crest of Lordaeron.
That’s Warcraft. You should be excited about Warcraft when you’re playing Warcraft. It should be cool for your character to look like a Warcraft character because it’s Warcraft and it’s cool. It’s Blizzard’s job to make it cool.
But instead Blizzard are increasingly opening the door for the “exciting” prospect of a Iron Man Mark IV suit, or a Kill Bill outfit, or a Sailor Moon costume.
It may be cool on its own, but it’s not Warcraft.
It may be cool to have a character that looks like Iron Man or Sailor Moon, but it doesn’t fit within a Warcraft setting. And it doesn’t help make that Warcraft setting look cool. It makes it look silly and random.
It’s Blizzard’s job to make Warcraft cool and make us want more Warcraft. Let us hope they haven’t forgotten that in all their excitement for Sailor Moon costumes and swimwear outfits.

I have no idea what is sailor moon but if its anime were comparing wow with I would compare wow to one piece, similarly colorful and comical. Nothing wrong with not going entirely serious with theme.
If blizzard cant even take their IP serious anymore then i will not bother about it anymore aswell. This World of my little pony is not for me anymore.
And if blizzard ever want to pull something serious of again like Legion or the Lich King then dont complain that the community cant get invested in it anymore blizzard!
I saw this and it encouraged me to level up a male kul tiran warrior in pandaland remix just so he can wear a bikini and sit in front of the SW cathedral in his rainbow chair and prove to everyone that pixels can’t hurt you
